Such a gem this place. We ordered sashimi, sushi candy, magma roll. The sake menu is delightful. Fish quality was good, service was great, cute cozy spot. Next time we will be back for the omakase special. Our server Angie was so welcoming, love restaurants like this.

Consistentcy is key at Moriyama. Everything from the quality of their ingredients and preparation by their chefs to the presentation of the menu and always great service. You can’t ask for a much better experience.

This place has become my go-to spot – I’ve been coming here for the past year and it hasn't missed! The selection is incredible and consistently impressive. The chef really knows their craft and sources amazing fish. Every visit, the quality is outstanding and every piece melts in your mouth. They also have a wonderful selection of beverages, including alcoholic options.
What keeps me coming back is the chef’s knowledge and friendly staff. Over my many visits, they’ve gotten to know my preferences and always suggest something that blows me away. The service has been consistently excellent too and I always enjoy chatting with them!
As someone who’s tried countless other sushi restaurants in Seattle over the last 7 years, I can confidently say this place never disappoints. I’ve brought friends and family here multiple times and they’re always amazed. This is simply the best sushi in the area!

Great place! One of the best sushi's we've ever had! Both veggies and specialty sushi's were great! We loved this place ❤️

Salmon was fantastic, but the price vs the atmosphere gives a bit of dissonance. California roll was ok, and the tuna was disappointing.

Moriyama Sushi is a cozy, laid-back spot that’s perfect for a small gathering—ideal for parties of up to four. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is both friendly and attentive.
During my visit, the sushi was incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared, showcasing the quality of ingredients.
They also offer a happy hour, which is a great opportunity to explore their menu without breaking the bank. If you're someone who can never get enough sushi, Moriyama is a great place to get a solid value for your money. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, delicious sushi in a chill environment!

I love this spot. Tiny little hidden gem that is not so hidden i Eastlake. Most of the time I order to go but every time I eat in I am happily placed at the sushi bar. The restaurant is very small but the staff make sure you are being looked after throughout the dining experience. I recommend the sushi candy and the lemon salmon roll. Everything I have eaten is great here!

I got take out so I can’t speak to eating in, but the fish here is not fresh. We got the chefs special 7 piece and it did not look like the fish in the photos other customers are posting. It was fishy and mediocre at best.
For rolls it seems fine, but I would not recommend this place for nigiri and I have no idea why this place has the ratings it has.

I used to live next to this spot and it was my fav in Seattle. The quality wasn't much different than the top tier sushi spots. They also cater to gluten free/celiac. The family who runs it is so kind and appreciate their customers so much. I greatly enjoyed getting to know them and I'm sad I had to leave. The best local spot I have ever lived next to. Everyone should try them out, they won't be disappointed. They do this seared onion salmon that is to die for. Miss this spot.
surprisingly good quality (and fresh) sushi!
Delicious sushi, fair prices & warm/gracious staff. My favorites are the Rainbow Roll & the Kimbap. I feel fortunate to have this restaurant in my neighborhood!
