Before heading to Seattle, I did some research and made it a point to visit Moto Pizza - Belltown, and I’m so glad I did! I had high hopes, and they were absolutely met. I’ve been wanting to try Detroit-style pizza forever, and this was my first time - and wow, it was amazing! Even as a vegan, I had plenty of options and the flavors were spot on. The staff were super friendly too! If I’m ever back in Seattle, I’ll definitely be coming back here.

We ordered the beef adobo pizza and were extremely disappointed. First, the pizza was $25, which is definitely overpriced for the amount you get. Second, it had absolutely no beef on it—very stingy for something advertised as beef adobo. Third, the pizza was burnt. I’ve attached photos for reference. Overall, very disappointing experience.

Having sampled Detroit-style pizza from numerous spots across North America, I can confidently say that Moto pizza ranks among the best. From the moment the pie hit the table, it was clear this was no ordinary pizza.
The Mr. Pig was amazing...Lechon kawali (Filipino pork belly), spicy pork sausage, onion, MOTO cheese blend, parmesan, topped with calamansi lime sauce and MR PIG sauce was the perfect balance of light and airy. Pure perfection. It’s something special that takes Detroit-style pizza to the next level with a little Filipino twist.
The sauce was rich, tangy, sweet and had just the right amount of zest, complementing the cheese and toppings without overwhelming the flavors. Speaking of toppings, each bite was a savory delight, fresh and well-balanced. Whether you go classic or adventurous with your choice of toppings, they’re applied generously and with care.
The atmosphere of the place was cozy yet modern, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was smooth from start to finish.
Moto pizza knocks it out of the park. It’s a must-try for any pizza enthusiast, and I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in town.
