Here’s the thing, they’re ordering system does completely stink having to scan a QR code and place your order and not be able to ask questions is a pretty terrible in restaurant way to order. Not to mention it doesn’t enable you to ask about which dishes we can hold the MSG out of. This seems like an idiotic thing to still have to ask in restaurants hoping to deliver delicious healthy food. MSG has no place and no need in their delicious food that is made without it. Unfortunately all their prepared dumplings have MSG in them. A decision, I hope that they change soon. We live down the street. We would love it for this to be our go-to Chinese restaurant and have always ordered lots to support this small business. The MSG and the in-restaurant ordering system need to go. If you can catch the server to ask that all your food be prepared without MSG, it is worth it and the food is fantastic! That’s why it still gets four stars from me. I wish and wish and wish that they would take MSG out of all of their food, as I am sure it could all stand on the beautiful flavors that they have developed.
This place is delicious. Some reviews say the food is too mild, but I tried the spicy braised beef soup and it was aromatic, beefy, spicy and full of perfectly cooked bok choi and other vegetables. I'm not Chinese so I can't speak to the authenticity, but it felt like it had real soul! The portion was ENORMOUS and very generous with the good stuff-- meat, noodles, veggies. The inside of the shop is shining clean, has a fun colorful style and lovely friendly and kind staff. Definitely bringing my kids here next time to broaden their horizons beyond ramen!!
The duck was chewy and low quality. I’m still suspicious if this was even duck meat.
The noodles had no meat, literally two shrimps and couple scrap pieces of chicken. What a waste of money.
Every meal I’ve had is delicious and the people who work there are so kind!
Visiting from Spokane and found this little gem. Excellent food with GENEROUS portions. 😆 The fried tofu, Szechuan pork and the braised pork were amazing. The egg custard was a perfect dessert.
had a takeaway order in which i ordered the wonton soup, but i found a chunk of plastic in it, as well as something crunchy in the dumpling. also ordered steam pork dumplings, it’s pretty good, overall not satisfied with the soup dish but would order the dumplings again. the lady at the restaurant was very friendly, seemed to have a good atmosphere in there.
also didn’t receive any utensils even though i asked for them
This restaurant is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Seattle area. Their Pork buns, Dan Dan noodle, sesame chicken, dumplings, sichuan vice pepper chicken, fried rice are excellent. If you prefer less spicy or less salty, just let them know and their workers are happy to accommodate for you.

We are semi-regular customers who mainly get takeout from here, and while it is generally good food, we have sometimes had bad experiences here.
2 nights ago while dining with my toddlers and partner, we were served the large Shrimp Shuimai which were raw and cold in the middle. I didn't know this until I felt the coldness in my second bite. Nothing like swallowing a mouthful of undercooked shrimp and raw ground pork to ruin your evening. I felt sick the following day. They were very apologetic and cooked a new batch from scratch. I get it, someone made a mistake, probably following the instructions to cook from chilled instead of frozen. And they're a small business. But I think they could have done more than a free serving of brown sugar buns for the kids.
Also, the Eggplants with Garlic Sauce Rice, while nice, needs to be updated on the menu to say it is spicy. This was the second time we ordered it, hopeing to share it with the kids but it was too spicy. (When we got it takeaway, it was REALLY spicy.)

Bad review. Lard residue is sold as spicy chicken. It tastes bad and the service attitude is bad.
Everything was delicious! Every bun and dumpling was delicious, and the noodles were delicious! No faults at all. It's also cheap, and I'll be eating here all the time.
