Deceptive pricing and lackluster service. I went in wanting to get a club sandwich; on the menu it is listed at $17 currently, but when you add it to your cart you then choose the options. A side is mandatory and is an additional $5, then you had to choose the meat you'd like (ham, turkey, bacon, ect.) all of which cost an additional $1-2, same with vegetables. So in the end it costs around $30, nearly double what is shown online and in person on the menu.
Service wise it's lacking in my experience, I ordered a croissant after the club sandwich deception. When they called my name to pick it up the barista handed it to me directly; I said thank you and have a nice morning, I was completely ignored.
Food wise, I can't recommend the pastries. Extremely dry and unflavorful. Probably from some 3rd party vendor.

Best place in the mall
I was super bummed to see they now just have a kiosk to order from instead of a person and a text message when your food is ready. It just feels soulless and robotic with minimal human interaction. I won’t go back.

Saturday at 10am I ordered a brioche egg sandwich and cappuccino. My main complaint is that my dine in order items didn’t come at the same time. My sandwich arrived about 5 minutes after placing my order. But then I had to wait another 5 -7 minutes for my cappuccino. It reduced the quality of the overall dining experience. I felt like the volume of orders was too much for 2 baristas.

The new system is very bad the food and coffee are good but the new ordering system is quite bad
Mr. West change the service to self order which was so confusing. I used to love this place due to being personalized. Because of self service it felt impersonal and chaotic. It killed the vibe

Beautiful decor and good song choices. But the online ordering is deceptive :( you can’t have unsweetened tea. And the staff gets very impatient with the big line…

$5.50 for a latte, 15 minute wait for the drink, crowded and cramped seating. What more could you ask for?

My friends and I frequently come for a nice breakfast on the weekends. We enjoy it because it is relaxed, and the food is really good.
We were eating breakfast this morning, and what appeared to be a drugged out man came in with hammers and screwdrivers - he was messing with one of the light fixtures. Since he was pretty close to us, I didn’t feel safe, so I notified the wait staff behind the bar. In response, they just laughed at him. The man then approached our table with his screwdriver and tried to grab one of our glasses on the table, eventually putting one of his weapons in our water!
One of the wait staff finally tried to escort him out. A few minutes later, another employee came to our table to ask what had happened, and she revealed that he had been walking around with those weapons earlier. AND THEY DID NOT ACT ON IT. We witnessed other patrons leaving because of this man. DO BETTER, Mr West.

Everything I have ever eaten here has always been delicious! The food is so good - the sandwiches, soup, coffee, cocktails, even beer :). In addition, the coffee is not burnt, which is characteristic of many places in Seattle these days unfortunately. The ambience is romantic and vibey, but also perfect for studying depending on what table you grab. The crowd feels quite upscale, always classy and kind. You'll also find a lot of UW kids working and studying here. The music is always so good too :).
One time I lost my phone here and the general manager helped me look for it for like 10 mins, and calmed me down too. It ended being in my backpack lol.
Vegetarian options: They also have good vegetarian options, delicious soups and salads.

The places it’s nice and the staff great but they need a better manager. They have the most retrograde table service with tiny numbers that the waiters can’t see and they’re running around the very tiny place finding the owner of the food. It actually pains me to see the waiters looking for the numbers going all over. There are so many better ways to do this that aren’t expensive and way more efficient.

We ordered the Turkish Breakfast, Brioche Breakfast Sandwich, an iced matcha latte, a side of potatoes, and a chocolate chip cookie. I enjoyed the Turkish Breakfast, it tasted good but it didn’t blow me away or feel like a real meal, it was more like an appetizer. Breakfast sandwich was okay. Potatoes were good. Iced matcha latte was too sweet and tasted low quality. Chocolate chip cookie was also okay. Servers were all over the place and mixed up our order but they were nice. The overall experience was okay and the place looked nice. Maybe we ordered the wrong things from here but it wasn’t quite the experience we were hoping for.

Drink was delicious, but I feel like I got bait-and-switched into a bigger size. Their menu didn’t list size options and I got charged more than menu price for the bigger size. :/
