I mean - soooooooo good. And just chill, ya know? I love these places with AMAZING food that feel so welcoming. Love this place!
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while! A beautiful restaurant tucked away in Beacon Hill. The host was extremely welcoming and accommodating of my young daughter and all of the servers engaged with her. But then came the food...oh my gosh, the impact of flavor and texture hit and never let up. Stand out dishes for us were the pinakbet (tempura), inaloban na isda (rockfish) and maja blanca (tapioca dessert). We also had the mushroom sisig, lumpiang shanghai, short rib kare kare, garlic rice, and chocolate bibingka. Thank you to the most amazing manager for all of the food recommendations!
We had a choice of a table by the entrance or two seats at the bar. So glad we decided on the bar. Not quite as noisy and the big plus was having Phil the bartender wait on us. He was extremely knowledgeable about the food and guided us well with our wine and food choices.
Enjoyed the ambience and the food. Our server was very attentive.... and thank you for my sons bday treat.
Food is over rated as the food are prepared ahead of time and just put the sauce over it ! Fried food was not hot and what really matters is the automatic 22% gratuity? Hard to justify, doesn't matter what they say !
The Filipino-inspired drinks and dishes were all superbly executed. The short-ribs Kare kare, chicken Adobo and Pancit Malabon were delicious. The Pinakbet and mushroom Sisig were gastronomic delights and highly recommended.
Great place to eat! All of the food and drinks are delicious! The Birthday desserts were served with candles which was great!
Awesome filipino food experience. Authentic flavor. More family style and we tried at least half the menu. I'd call it elevated which was a bit silly. Where else are you buying pandesal for $8 for that tiny roll. Pinoys know that's crazy but it still gets 5 stars for the awesome flavors.

šāØ Musang ā A Global Gem on Seattleās Beacon Hill āØš
Dining at Musang feels like stepping into a soulful story of Filipino heritage woven with the fresh bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Chef Melissa Miranda and her team donāt just serve foodāthey serve memory, culture, and community on every plate.
The menu is rich with bold Filipino flavors, beautifully reimagined with seasonal, local ingredients. From comforting classics to inventive vegetarian options (clearly labeled and thoughtfully crafted), every dish arrives with both heart and artistry. The Escabeche black cod and Lumpiang Shanghai are standouts, but honestly, each plate carries the warmth of home and the precision of fine dining.
šæ Why it matters globally: Musang is more than a restaurantāitās a cultural movement rooted in love, legacy, and hospitality. Itās a space where tradition meets innovation, where every guest feels like family, and where the Filipino diaspora shines on a global stage.
⨠Insider Tips:

⢠Service is deeply caring, blending professional polish with genuine warmth.
Musang isnāt just one of Seattleās bestāitās a place that belongs on the worldās culinary map. šš«

Loved it just wish theyād be more transparent about the 22% service fee. Iām not one to always read the small print on a bill - and wo my glasses I couldnāt read it. Maybe circle it and mention it.

Restaurantji Recommends
We entered Musang with such high expectations. The restaurant had gotten some buzz in the local press and some high customer reviews. Musang is located on the floor of a house and we were greeted warmly. Our server was excellent. The seats were comfortable.
The ambient noise made it difficult to carry on a conversation and the piped in music only aggravated the problem. I asked our waitress to turn down the music but still it was hard to hear across the table.
For the food, we started by ordering pandesol, fresh bread. What showed up was a single fresh small roll no larger than a golf ball with a dab of butter on the side! Expecting a reasonable number of rolls for $9, I was shocked at the incredibly small portion size. I should have sent it back as unacceptable. If we had ordered 6 small rolls for our party of 3, the cost would have been $54 for bread!
We also had house pickled atchara for $6. It was a few slivers of carrot and a green papaya in a small ramekin. A mere garnish.
The first dish to arrive was pancit canton, a noodle dish with a mild tart flavor. But it was overwhelmed by the oily sauce that drenched the boxed spaghetti noodle base into a mop. The dish could have been improved greatly if fresh noodles were used instead and easing up on the sauce. For $28 the portion size was small. Next was mushroom sisig, basically a mushroom ragout. Best dish of the night. Lastly, was arroz valenciano at $40. This was a bed of Spanish rice, dried out and stuck to the bottom of the pan, with a garnish of four small dried out shrimp and clams on top. A real disappointment, no better than a rice dish from the supermarket freezer section.
Altogether with the house mandated tip, the bill came to about $200 for an unsatisfactory dining experience. As if that were not bad enough, the house expects you to tip on top of the mandatory 22% tip it adds to the bill. Altogether, Musang was a highly unsatisfactory experience. I am glad we did not order two dishes per person as recommended by the waitress.

Officially one of my new favorite spots that I will absolutely stop at whenever Iām in Seattle. Kido, my server, was an angel. The food was incredible (got the tuna and the fried chicken) and the vibe was splendid. Wow wow wow.
Fantastic food, and even better people running the show. Donāt miss this one!

My boyfriend took me here and it was amazing - they were so nice to give us both sorbet desserts (melon and blueberry coconut and it was SO good) specials are also really good and fun to try
I have been thinking about the sorbet all week.

Stellar staff and atmosphere. The food is good but the price is high for what is served. I wouldn't come back simply because I don't think the price is right. $52 ribeye special that was served with only 4 onions and sauce...the plate looked naked. Even a simple garnishment would have made the plate look fuller. Had a great time otherwise.
