Don’t pay for extra bags. They will put everything in one bag; hot and cold together, whether you pay for extra or not. The sushi instantly gave me a stomach ache, which really doesn’t happen for me when eating sushi. Inside the restaurant didn’t have enough ventilation and was very steamy.

Love this little addition to our neighborhood. Stopped by for lunch and was very impressed. Although small and it has a “to go” vibe, the quality and freshness rivals many sit down places in Seattle. The katsu was perfectly crisp, curry was perfect, even the white rice served had a nice texture and flavor. Udon soup was clean yet rich and flavorful. Salmon nigiri was VERY generously cut, fresh, and melt in my mouth. The chef was very kind to us. I was honestly shocked at some of the reviews here because I love this place and will surely be back. Perfect casual place for a great meal.

Sadly the worst ramen I’ve had in Seattle. Egg was hard and very cold (and slightly green). I ate in shop and was served everything in a plastic bowl and with a plastic spoon. Broth wasn’t great, meat was sub-par, portion was small, but the noodles had good texture!

As someone who loves ramen and lives close by I’m disappointed. The people working there were nice, just not worth the $20+ dollars for everything after all was said and done.

I usually don’t give reviews; but damn was this food BAD!! I ordered a poke bowl (hard to mess up) and it was literally the WORST POKE bowl I have ever tasted. I’m not exaggerating; I have had sushi and poke from the commissary on army base in Oklahoma and it tasted better than this junk. The rice, (not sure how) tasted and smelled burnt/smokey. It was not sticky like sushi rice is supposed to be. There was a good amount of fish which somewhat makes up for the price; but I will be sticking to the Safeway up the street for my poke needs from now on. SAVE YOUR MONE!

Me and my friend have been going around Seattle the past few weeks reviewing various ramen restaurants, and let me just say, I do understand that certain restaurants have their own strengths and weaknesses, but frankly, I don't understand how they thought their ramen was suitable for human consumption. I was shocked that they thought something like that could even be put on their menu, considering that their sushi was actually really good, according to my friend at least. This was genuinely one of the times where I thought I was actually able to cook something better at home.

The ramen broth was flavorless and just tasted like salted water, the noodles overcooked and very soft, the ramen egg was also overcooked with a solid yolk. In addition to this, the portion sizes were small as well, and I was left feeling like I should've gotten a refund. It's a real tragedy that this restaurant has similar ratings as other restaurants that just offer you much, much more for the price. I personally don't ever plan on coming back, as I'm quite mentally scarred from this experience.

We ordered some Ramen plus some sushi, and the overall experience was......Terrible. The ramen feels like home cooked instant ramen noodles, and they came in a take out bowl despite us eating there in person. The broth was salty and bland, the egg was vastly overcooked, the meat is okay, but the noodles feel squishy and stale. The only bright side is that the sushi seems to be of decent quality, but other than that, afraid it doesnt have much going for it.

Yuppp love how they’re going, nicely decorated interior, clean with some seating. Touch screen ordering system, makes it easy for ordering. The staff was only somewhat friendly, kind of gave off a rushed cold feel even though I was only one of two customers at the time, but its not like they were rude by any means, and I guess they don’t have to be cheery all the time, but still, a little more cheeriness would have done them favors. Got the Unagi bowl and it hit the spot, good portion size.

Most disappointing teriyaki I've had. The vegetables were steamed or boiled and unseasoned, not your usual teriyaki side salad. There is no side of teriyaki sauce like all other places I've been. The portion was very small compared to others.I'd stick to sushi if you go here!

We've been here twice - sushi is fresh and decently priced. We tried the miso ramen as well the first time and it was shockingly, almost inedibly salty. Because of the other ramen rave reviews, we figured it was a one-off mistake, so tried the regular tonkotsu the second time some weeks after. Brain-numbingly salty again to the point that I added hot water to my bowl to dilute it and suffered from extreme thirst the rest of the night. Wow. Would return for the sushi but wish the ramen was less salty because I could tell it could have been really flavorful.

Pretty average sushi rolls. Paired with overly salty soy sauce they did not leave any desire to come back

I looked forward to the reopening of Muto in Ravenna for MONTHS. Six to be exact. Muto was always a weekly stop for great ramen, tempura, and sushi.

Muto reopened this week with a nice makeover — more like a Japanese Izakaya, with more in-restaurant seating and a bit of a revamped menu.

I went in tonight to pick up ramen and gyoza for takeaway dinner and I was disappointed. The gyoza were greasy, soggy, and burnt at the same time. My ramen was decent, but the charsiu was incredibly dry and cut much too thickly for ramen. My wife had eel nigiri and it fell apart when she picked it up. Her ramen was also lackluster.

It looks like there's a new owner, and I wish him all the best, but I can't imagine that I'll be going back to Muto, which is a shame, because it was a great addition to the neighborhood.
