The seafood is old and not fresh. I should have known better to think any other way because every time I drive by this place, there are no cars in the parking lot. When I finally decided to stop in, I was the only customer in the store. The guy who worked there made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I won't return.

Love the variety of fish and seafood here. Especially happy to have found the herring caviar - difficult to find elsewhere

The salmon we got from Mutual was extremely fresh and reasonably priced. We will be coming again soon for more fishes. Highly recommended!

There's a great variety of fresh fish and seasonings. The service is fast, friendly, and the prices are fair. Totally worth the hour drive. Thanks! ????

Honestly not a very good place, can find better. Workers are rude & aggressive

Always nice to support local businesses. I made a friend while I was there recently. He talked me out of crab for dinner. Halibut was great though. Fresh oysters were also a treat.

Hawaiian Ahi! Friendly & fast service! Fresh oysters and they know to keep their clams fresh in a cold tank vs over ice. Miso Marinated Butterfish thats as good as the one I make at home. It's not the cheapest place (think about PCC level prices) but many of the fish they have is from USA sources- not the Philippines, and flown in fresh. They also stock all the favorite Japanese brands of a few pantry staples (rice vinegar, furikake, tempura batter, real wasabi paste) without having to make a separate stop to travel to Uwajimaya or Maruta market. I have also bought daikon from their small produce section once but unfortunately it wasn't as fresh since I don't think people expect they will have those things here - but they have some things like Napa Cabbage, onion, green onion, and daikon. They were a life saver on new years eve when other Japanese stores were still packed and I realized I forgot to pick up one more ingredient. While I can't afford to go all the time, anytime I want to make something special seafood-wise I always go here.

My family would drive from Renton to shop here when I was a kid. It still delivers. Take the time to get here. You won't be disappointed.

Old school fish market with high quality products throughout. Live shellfish, fresh crab, sashimi, oysters and a small selection of groceries that work well with seafood. Been coming for literally decades and will continue to do so. They will ship for you as well so if you're looking to send a quintessentially Seattle gift that will be sure to impress it'll be a guaranteed hit. Highly recommended!

Small store with fresh seafood. Not a great selection but I think the seafood is pretty fresh and good. Many times I have bought a chunk of Hamachi tuna and eat it as sashimi. Really good. I feel prices aren't cheap but the food reliably fresh.

Kind and helpful folks here. We got some prawns and they were delicious!

Customer service was amazing. We were unsure how many pounds to buy, the server knew exactly what was recommended. He did all the cutting and fileting. The salmon was delicious.
