Great prices - less than like $8 for a coffee and a bagel with cream cheese
Bagel was alright but coffee was not good… Got iced with no ice, so was just lukewarm. They also have decent breakfast sandwiches.
Good food and cheap.
Honest family run basic, humble down to earth, no frills deli. Love it...^^

I gagged when I saw the disgusting eggs in my breakfast sandwich, gray and smelly. Never going back.

Tasty croissant sandwich just like the ones I used to make except I never make. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely amazing bagel sandwich and very reasonable prices!
Very solid, very reasonable prices. It’s hard to find places that do the basic things really well and focus on making actually delicious food instead of something gimmicky and charging exorbitantly for that.

Great croissant eggs and avocado 👌🏽
I love the egg sandwhich but whoever is cooking the bacon should be fired. Every time I order it's scorched and blackened,
crunchy like drywall. Seriously guys it's not that hard to cook bacon stop burning ur bacon and stop serving black burned bacon to customers!!
I'm frustrated because this would be the perfect breakfast spot but they seriously need to teach the collage kids working grill some standards

Breakfast in that place in early morning is sensational 🤗
Definitely a budget operation by new owners. Somehow, I never made it here under previous ownership, but I work around the corner now, and started popping over for relatively cheap and very fast sandwiches. Hoagie rolls have been out of stock every time I go, and the sandwiches are VERY basic but good, and honestly, that's all I need: a step up from the pre-made grab and go UW sandwiches (and they're the same price). Staff are wonderful and clearly community focused, I've seen them give non customers hot water for ramen and tea multiple times.
Used to come here waaaay back when I a grad student. The guy behind the counter was nice and made good food. Must have been sold-today I got a French dip with two thin slices of beef. Au jus was in plastic container, too hot to carry back to hotel. No napkins, no smile. Maybe its cuz I’m taking hubby to UW Medical for cancer treatment but if I find myself back on the U district, I can safely say I will pass.
Great customer service and good food! I work in the U District and I will return.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The outside of the building has graffiti. Seems like the corner there is a bit run down. I got avocado on my bagel sandwich. There were a lot of brown spots in my avocado. Perhaps a bit overripe? The egg portion was substantial, probably pre-made, since ordering only an egg white is not an option. The bagel was very good. The Chai tea was mediocre, tasted more like milk.
