We ate here on Valentines day, the pizza was AMAZE. We live about a 5min walk away and heard all about this spot, so we wanted to check it out, as serious "pan pizza" lovers. SO GOOD! We were waiting in line by 4:56 and it was already about a 45min-1h wait for pizza. We grabbed some drinks and sat down while we waited. It felt a little weird because it's a pretty small space (like 5 tables, and a bar for eating) and folks like us with out food were taking up the seating. Once we got our food, and our minds blown all was right with the world. In the meantime we'll walk there place an order and come back to pick it up...or we'll going next door to Tangletown for a cocktail while we wait.

This pizza is the best in town. Salads are also poppin, every child in the spot is stoked on goldfish Caesar surprise. Super chill space with an extremely warm vibe. Even though Derek JUST opened this brick and mortar, the pizza is still as good as the old days - deep and dank. Everyone who works here is hot.

Finally got to try the Derek's experience. They just opened in my neighborhood, I swung by and ordered a small pepperoni, mushrooms and castelvetrano olives to go (just riffed from an ingredients list they provided).
Truly an extraordinary result. Such a fluffy dough, I've never really experienced anything like it. And the edges and corners crusted up nicely. I'm a Derek's believer now.
It does seem like this is a big jump from their instagram-only experience of the past (that I've only read about). And the old Mkt. is such a small little space too. I'm looking forward to spring and summer and some dinners outside at the window and under the shed.

Ordered the Derek’s fav for take out and was not disappointed. Fluffy dough, nice caramelized outer crust, and high quality ingredients. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Seattle. Orders will def take a little bit of time as they are just opening up, but I can’t wait to come back!
