Probably great matcha and ice cream, but don't get the tea's. They just give you hot water and a bag of tea.
Go find a place that brews the tea for you
The customer service and atmosphere were superb. Try to come early to grab a table, otherwise it is a bit of a wait. Food does come out really fast. You can ask during ordering to hold off the dessert while you’re eating your meal. All food items were delicious. I could do without the sakura cake. I prefer my cake on the moist side, this was too dry for me. It does pair well with hojicha as is.
Bearded dude at the counter must really hate his job.
He only replies with “No” no matter what questions you have.
If you ask “Why no?” He’d still answer No
Very odd🤔
How a rude cashier could ruin a day: My husband and I went for this Nana’s green tea together for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. We waited for 10mins to get in and I was excited about the seasonal Sakura parfait. When finally it’s my turn I asked for a dine-in Sakura🌸Parfait, but the male cashier who is tall and with big beard just told me “NO”, he said only take-out is accepted. But I was confused cuz I do see people dine in or wait around to sit at a table, but whatever I asked, he just said “NO” and refused to give any other detail 😓. So I just went ahead with a take-out order and walk inside to wait, eventually I found a table and get to enjoy the parfait but I am still confused until I felt he was simply being rude. And then my husband said “why do you care, you got a table anyway”. Which makes me feel even worse. LOL anyway, the parfait is fine, but I got one more lesson on not relying men with the feelings/mood, not even your husband☺️
Nice place with a great vibe! 🍵✨ I just wish the matcha was a bit greener, but overall, a lovely spot to relax.
My sister and I got the Cream Matcha Latte and Matcha soft serve. I am a matcha fanatic and I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem with a matcha latte until now. Every sip was of powder and zero sweetness that left your mouth dry. I almost never leave bad reviews but this place I was so excited to try because of all the positive ones. Save your $20.
If you’re a fan of authentic matcha and Japanese comfort food, Nana’s Green Tea is worth checking out. Known for its high-quality matcha and flavorful donburi bowls, this spot offers a taste of Japan in a casual setting. While the food delivered on authenticity and flavor, the service left room for improvement.
The space has a cozy and modern feel with a clean, minimalistic design. It’s a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of matcha, though it can get a bit busy during peak hours.
Authenticity: 4.5/5
The matcha was smooth, earthy, and authentic. Both my Tonkatsu Don bowl and my friend’s Salmon Sashimi Don bowl tasted just like the ones I’ve had in Japan—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
Flavor: 4.5/5
The matcha was the standout, with a perfectly balanced flavor. The donburi bowls were delicious, with the Tonkatsu being crispy and hearty, and the salmon sashimi fresh and tender.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the food, making it a good value for what you get.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. The server seemed unsure about the orders and even brought out the wrong dishes initially. The cashier also appeared disinterested and wasn’t helpful when I asked for recommendations, which took away from the overall experience.
Final Thoughts: Nana’s Green Tea delivers authentic Japanese flavors, especially when it comes to matcha and donburi bowls. While the food and drinks were great, the service could use some improvement. Still, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a solid matcha fix or a hearty Japanese meal.
Met-the-expectation dessert. Food was so-so, but the price was reasonable.
Customer experience with this dude was terrible. Even my cousin was like "what's his problem". Maybe he was having a bad day idk. 2 coffees also took over 10 mins to make. At least it tasted okay.
Tea was not bad, but the chicken curry donkatsu was extremely thin, and dry. There was barely any meat, just fried coating. I wouldn’t recommend it. This place is OVERrated.

The man with the curly mustache that works the register is not so friendly. I asked a few questions about the menu and milk options and he responded, “nope” very rudely to all my questions. He seemed sick of being in customer service. The matcha latte I got was underwhelming. The black sesame latte I got was so overly sweet and didn’t have any matcha or espresso in it. You’d expect a specialty matcha cafe to be great matcha but that’s definitely not the case. I was excited to try this spot so it was a bummer. Skip this one.
Would not recommend the regular don katsu it was very overcooked and super chewy. Not worth the money. Customer service was kind of rude as well
There was a European woman who took my order, and it was the worst customer service experience ever. When it was my turn to order, she gave me disgusted looks without any greeting. I felt confused and wasn’t sure if it was okay to order, but she just kept glaring at me. I said “hi” and started ordering, but she didn’t say a word. This was my first time experiencing such an attitude. I won’t ever go back to this store again.
Additionally, the hojicha latte was decent, but the matcha tiramisu tasted bland and couldn’t taste much matcha.

Food and atmosphere was great - cashier was rude. I thought my friend finished ordered his drink and I chimed in to share what I wanted to order and she rudely said “I’m not done with his order” in a very short manner. This is the first time I’ve had a bad customer experience at this location hence why I’m writing this review and honestly I misheard and that’s why I accidentally jumped in to share my order. I felt that the cashier could’ve handled the interaction in a more professional manner before giving attitude.
