The service is superb - friendly, customer service and satisfaction oriented. The woman taking my order seems to know many in the local neighborhood and recognizes her “regular customers.” She’s very kind and social.

Prices are fair.

Food is really delicious and cooked to order (hot foods are hot). Perfectly seasoned and balanced (not salty, not dry). Great options.

What a fantastic place! I used to be a regular here when attending the UW as an undergraduate student. Now, 25 years after, I make sure to stop by here every time I’m in Seattle. They never disappoint! The Nasai Special with chicken and gyoza is the same, equally flavorful and delicious as I remember it. For those looking for an honest and good teriyaki meal in a casual setting without additional whistles and bells, this is your place!

Casual Teriyaki fare in a no frills space. Food comes out very quick and portions are huge. It remains one of the last good teriyaki options in the walkable area. Prices are very reasonable and the food is consistent but not mind-blowing. It's perfect for a quick and filling meal on a budget
