Hand made noodles are really good.
Flavors are really good. Skillful cook.
I personally like their Sweet and Sour Chicken and Fried rices, but their stir fried noodles are also excellent ( wife's favorite are the Indonesian ones)
The location does not allow dine in ( No tables) but it is an excellent for To-Go ( pickup or delivered) if you live nearby, they can deliver themselves ( instead of an overpriced app)

I don't get all of the 5 star reviews. I heard great things about this place but the food was pretty bland and oily. The beef was very chewy and fatty. Everything was heavy, which I guess is the norm for American-Chinese food (we had over 400g of chow mein noodles left after 4 people sampled it). Even the fried rice was lacking flavors. I'm glad it's a mom and pop joint and that a lot of people seem to enjoy it. Just set your expectations accordingly.

Small mom and pop place. Focusing on take out and delivery. We ate in, but it has limited seating. Wonderful flavors. The orange chicken is not too sweet. The veggies in the chicken and mixed veggies were crunchy, rather than soggy. We will be back.

You might scoff at $15 for General Tsos chicken but what you need to understand is that it comes in the full meal size to-go container but instead of saving money by stuffing half the box with fried rice and/or salad they just give you a container stuffed to the gills with entree and no filler. Just plan to get it to go because they only have one table in there.
Been a few times over the last year and a half, for some reason the beef in the chow mein always tastes like shrimp, but the orange chicken is excellent and crispy as others have said.
Very nice people, generous portions for the price...just maybe don't get the beef. Never gotten sick but it is weird.
I ordered the sweet n sour chicken. The portions were generous and chicken was crispy, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I added a side of stir fried veggies, everything was fresh and well seasoned. Will come back to try their other more authentic selections. This is a grab and go place w/ one small table.

My family ate here before Covid and it was - contender for the worst Chinese food we have ever had. But a few weeks ago, in a pinch I got some egg drop soup, which is my husband’s go to when he is sick. He said it was really good and not at all what he remembered from years ago. So I am giving a temporary 3. We will try a more substantial order given the very high reviews I’m now seeing and update. Even so, I feel like a 4.4 rating (as of 5/18/25) is likely another instance of Magnolia’s rating inflation.
Had a great experience eating at New China Express. The meal portions were great, and the Restaurant owners were welcoming.
We got the chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, and broccoli beef. The beef and chow mein were both disintegrating in our mouth and were pretty much inedible. The only redeemable part was certain pieces of orange chicken, really wanted to love this place but unfortunately will not be back.
We have ordered deliveries from here over the past year. Their house shaved noodles and fried rice are our favorite!
Frank does most of the deliveries and is always very nice!

Delivery is super fast, food arrives hot and crispy. Salt and pepper tofu and egg rolls are my favorite. The moo shoo is delicious. Try the green noodles they are fresh and hand shaven, delicious and beautiful.
