My wife and I ordered a take out of Chow Mein, Spare Ribs and BBQ pork for $78, we live a block away so we opened it right away the chow main smelled of burnt rubber and a sort of chemical, the spare ribs weren't spare ribs but something resembling dog treats, the next day I went in and spoke with a waitress, she took my name down and my credit card info and said the owner would call me, not hearing from the owner I went in a few days after in where she stated that the owner would call me, it has now been a week without any call, the food was terrible and we didn't even eat it, we have lived in West Seattle for 21 years and have not had an experience like this ever

This bar and restaurant was a lot of fun. Loud music, but hey we were in the bar. We're totally able to talk and have a good time. The food was very good. The menu was limited but great!

Fantastic food, fantastic drinks, fantastic ambiance. There is a real lack of Chinese food in West Seattle, so this place is fairly essential. I especially like the slushies, and the honey walnut shrimp.
In my opinion, this place is 6 stars for the reasons above, but they lose a star due to the super high prices. I describe the vibe as a “fake dive bar.” That is, it looks and feels like a dive bar, except it’s gonna cost you $150 for two people to have dinner.

Salt & Pepper ribs and general tso's chicken were the highlights. Fries at good with a generous portion. Prawn & pork dumplings and chow fat noodles aren't things I'd order again. Service is great, really dark interior.

This place used to be quite good. Ordered the Mai Tai which was super disappointing and not authentic. The General Tao’s chicken was fine. The chicken was was far from crisp and the seasoning/sauce was mid and flavorless. Bartender dropped the food and didn’t say a word. Hope they are in a funk as this place used to be good. Tonight was a let down.

Loved the vibes of this vintage Chinese-American dive bar with just touches of Tiki-esqe flair. The food was good, but prices were high and portions small for what you get. They were out of the General Tso’s at 9 o’clock on a Saturday, which was a bummer. The cocktails were solid, but nothing particularly memorable or unique. Verdict? Come here for the character and enjoy the bar snacks along the way.

service was very extremely welcoming and prompt. My first time here and I was craving Chinese food - I Ordered takeout which was promptly delivered hot in compostable and biodegradable takeout containers. No chopsticks or napkins offered. I ordered the egg rolls and prawn dumplings. I thought my appetizers lacked flavor; I couldn’t taste any prawns or the pork. I was so sad, but I would go back and try something else one more time….

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food is consistently delicious. The tropical cocktails are a nice balance to the food and are always strong and delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. The cozy, dim ambiance is perfect.
My husband and I live across town from this place so it usually takes us between 30-45 mins to get here, but it's always worth the drive.
My only complaint? They're not open on Sundays! I always forget and end up craving it just when I can't have it. Otherwise, this place is a gem. Highly recommend.

A modern noodle bar with an 90's Cantonese authentic. The noodles are ok, the spices, sauces, and flavors outstanding. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

I am torn, because I would love nothing more than to keep this place a secret, but I cannot. From the moment you step on the block, it reminds me of being back in NYC. Very unassuming, attached to an old bodega, New Luck Toy is a great experience. The look, music, and team are amazing. I would love to give a shoutout to the team first as they are so wonderful and warm, and make you feel at home. They are a 10/5 star! Then the drinks and food, honestly are wonderful as well and I have to give a shoutout as well to the team in the kitchen. You kick ass! This has been our favorite go-to spot, not just in West Seatle, but overall.

The food was okay. But for 80 bucks I didn't expect to eat out of to go containers and a plastic fork. Insane.
I recently dined at New luck toy and had an overall decent experience with the food and service. However, I was extremely disappointed to find out that the tip charged to my card was higher than what I had written down on the bill copy.
I double-checked my receipt and bank statement, and it's clear that the amount was altered after I left. This is not only unethical but also highly concerning. I expected better integrity from a business when it comes to handling customers' payments.
