service was very extremely welcoming and prompt. My first time here and I was craving Chinese food - I Ordered takeout which was promptly delivered hot in compostable and biodegradable takeout containers. No chopsticks or napkins offered. I ordered the egg rolls and prawn dumplings. I thought my appetizers lacked flavor; I couldn’t taste any prawns or the pork. I was so sad, but I would go back and try something else one more time….
I am torn, because I would love nothing more than to keep this place a secret, but I cannot. From the moment you step on the block, it reminds me of being back in NYC. Very unassuming, attached to an old bodega, New Luck Toy is a great experience. The look, music, and team are amazing. Living in West Seattle, I happened upon this gem on a whim. I had no idea what to expect seeing a Gold painted stone store front with a Giant New Luck Toy neon over the top. I walked in to see the ceiling covered in Red lanterns and ventured back to the bar and additional seating. Good tunes and a packed venue. The atmosphere is upbeat with a broad range of ages.
