I looked up this place the other day and could not get their calzones out of my mind. Calzone… calzone. Today I finally did it. I ordered ahead to bring dinner home. It was one of those first getting dark early Seattle days and I couldn’t be bothered to cook dinner. I ordered the Super Sprint calzone and pesto al pollo pasta.

Okay… so. You may ask yourself ā€œwhy is this calzone over $20?ā€ It’s HUGE. They give it to you in a pizza box. If this is standard and I seem uncultured from an east coast perspective please tell me. Unlike most Seattlelites I can handle constructive criticism delivered directly (…like a pizza?) But anyway, I’ve personally never experienced a calzone of this size. It was packed with filling like quality ricotta and Mama Lil’s peppers. Their pesto is fantastic. The pasta was still hot when I got home, extremely well-packed and included garlic bread.

Everything was delicious.

I went on a week day around 4pm and it was very quiet. Please support these guys. This spot is in a really cool/unique warehouse space in SODO with multiple wineries and the San Juan seltzery!

Pesto forever!

Fantastic pizzas in a great location. I honestly don’t know the names of the slices I got because they weren’t labeled, but the one with chicken, jalapeƱo and BBQ sauce was so tasty!! The inside and outdoor seating options are great too. I would totally come here again.

If you’re craving pizza with the texture of a cracker and the soul of a frozen dinner, this place delivers. (Props for actually offering delivery though in this day and age.) The ā€œthin crustā€ is basically a glorified cracker, completely lacking in chewiness. Toppings are run of the mill, like they just came out of an off brand can. And even by Seattle standards everything is overpriced. While they do have a gluten free crust, which is great for those who need it, it’s dry and nothing special. This rating is strictly for the pizza—because nothing else could save it.

The pizza is great and there is lots of outdoor seating for nice days in the sun.

Can’t go wrong with the vodka chicken slice. So good I didn’t want to write a review because I wanted to keep this place a secret.

One of the better Pizza’s I have had in Seattle. Thin crust and the cheese had allot of flavor and the crust was lite.

I want to say that a couple things about the food did bother me. Before I get there: I said food was 20-30, true for what we had. If we had gone pizza it would have been 30-50. OK Spaghetti. Someone snapped the spaghetti in half. My first time in my life getting short spaghetti. Strike 1. I had the putanesca or arrabiata, they forgot to add red pepper flakes. Strike 2, cancelled on account that they did not poison me with capers. Also, one bite had a strong feel of anchovy, which I like but was not expecting. I did not like that there was no salt and pepper on the table. Somehow the system shows this place running 10-20. The only thing you can get for 10-20 without no tip is soft drinks. This place is 20-30 on a good day and prolly 30-50 on most days.

Contrary to some reviewers I really love this pizza. Maybe it just hits with the wine or maybe I’m craving pizza when I get it but this place is good! Normale is traditional and great, another pie they have has potato on it! Staff is friendly and quick, they do get busy but no long waits. Patio tables are great in the summer and early fall!

Not worth it. We came in on a Thursday night and was seated promptly. There was only one person who was doing all of the ordering and serving. He went to all the tables (including the ones that came in after us) and skipped over ours, leaving us to wait at least 20 minutes. We eventually came up to the counter to order but he told us that there were several tables before us and told us he’ll take our orders later. Normally, this would be fine and I understand that it was a busy night. However, all the tables before us were already served and he served everyone who came in after us. It felt very disappointing since we saw the good reviews before coming in.
