I have come here for lunch and always order the thali. I finally came for dinner and it was delicious. I think this place can’t disappoint you. The owner came to our table 2 times and he was very lovely and funny. Definitely make a reservation if you are thinking of coming for dinner.

Incredible food, quiet atmosphere, solid service. I had the vegetarian thali and it was flavorful and filling. Don't skip the dessert.

The Pangat with the 100 year old recipe was the best experience. Rich in history and culture.

Our favorite Indian food in Seattle! We've never had anything that wasn't absolutely delicious and unique in some way. Restaurant week is always a fun time to try a few new things. This last time we took our son and the owners sent him off with a nice surprise for dessert! Our favorites include the Samosas, any goat curry, Kofta curry, and the Cinnamon Imli to drink.

Loved the food, service, and ambience, super expensive though. One of the good Indian food place in seattle with decent starters. I really liked that they kept the menu short but focused on the food. For vegetarians, do try mushroom matar masala, Chikoo ice cream, and pav

I love Nirmals to the point I keep visiting this place every two months. Absolutely the best, authentic Indian food in Seattle. This might be a far from the bland red butter chicken curries you occassionally get by the looks of it, but most definitely one of the best ones I have tried.I love how they keep rotating the menu, trying out different cuisines from different parts of India. Bengali, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Ramadan - wow!Their ice-creams are to die for - Nirmal's, you should market them by tub! Also, as you visit Nirmal's, and if you are a food enthusiast, be sure to chat with Oliver and Gita, the owners - beautiful people.

The host wasn't welcoming at all and his tone sounded like he didn't want us to be there. He was also very adamant about seating us because we did not have a reservation, and there were many empty tables inside. We suspected he might have not been the actual host but needed to cover for the host on break, but still his behavior was very offputting. Our server was very slow and did not greet us for 10 minutes after seating. It took forever to get the bill and we were barely checked on.The owner is the opposite, he was great. He came by a few times and my party enjoyed that. My party enjoyed conversating with him.The food was really good and it was presented well!If their staff and service improves I would be willing to come back.

"Nirmals" offers a delightful culinary voyage through authentic Indian cuisine. From the gracious hospitality of the owner to the tantalizing flavors of each dish, the experience is exceptional. The hara bhara kebab and chicken angare were delectable appetizers, tantalizing the taste buds with their savory goodness. The Saoji Chicken was a spicy symphony, evoking memories with every bite, while the Pomfret Fry, coated with Malvani masala, delivered a crispy, flavorful punch. For dessert, the recommended chickoo ice cream paired with chocolate cake was a heavenly indulgence. Overall, Nirmals promises an unforgettable dining adventure.Ratings:Hara Bhara Chicken Saoji Pomfret Chickoo Ice Cream with Chocolate

This is probably Seattle's best Indian restaurant. Fresh flavors, gracious service, and an evolving menu that explores the diverse culinary traditions of the subcontinent. What's not to love?

Popped in for lunch and it was great! Lunch is only one menu item- the Thali which changes everyday w 2 curries, lentils, rice, naan, and even a rice pudding for dessert. Super filling, delicious, and really well

I went here during a work lunch, and was initially surprised to be offered only two options, chicken or vegetarian. However what they did bring out was delicious. I’ve never had curry presented like this but it was an enjoyable experience.
