We got the Yibin Noodles, Garlic Chicken Rice Bowl, and Sichuan pickles.
All the dishes were surprisingly good! Definitely coming back.

This is one of my favorite places in Seattle. The fun and creative dishes here make me think I’m in the true foodie city of Portland!
Theres something so cozy and warming about these dishes and the service has always been very attentive and kind. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for something new and flavorful!

Food: 4.5. Dumpling and noodle portions were just right, there was a lot of rice. Overall saucy meals where seasoning could be considered salty, or MSG-ish.
1/ Seasame noodle was 5/5, umami from the mala sauce, noodles tasted fresh.
2/ The mushroom bowl was 3/5, as the mushroom seasoning was salty and the sauce was overwhelming the vegetables in a MSG way.
3/ The chive dumplings dish was 4.5/5; the chive was delicious but the sauce was on the saltier side.
; takeout experience was great and the staff was prompt.
; bar has 8-ish seats, and around 11 tables to sit down. I'd like to dine in next time and was a bit surprised to find no one there on a weekend lucnh.

Just went for dinner and was so happy the chicken soup was so flavorful and the noodles OMG ! Also, your chili oil was amazing with the rice. The location is nice and the music was great.

I very rarely find it necessary to leave a review, but I was shocked with how highly rated this place was based on the food I received.
Disclaimer: I did order takeout, so I am rating purely based off of the food as I received little/no service and did not sit down to eat for ambiance.
I got the Yibin Burning Noodles and appreciated how all of the toppings were assembled in the takeout container. That's about where the positives end. The noodles were INCREDIBLY salty. Not technically inedible, but each bite made everything less and less appealing. I feel like there's not enough veggies to offset some of the textural aspect of the noodles (though, the nuts help). I like spicy food, but this wasn't really spicy. It did give me a strange tingly sensation on my tongue, though I'm sure it's due to the chilis.
I wonder if this was just a bad batch, because people seem to really enjoy the food here. I might try something else and chalk this up to a bad first experience, but I could only take about four bites before giving up.

The buckwheat noodles were absolutely delicious – comforting and full of flavor. The baby back ribs were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. easily one of the best I’ve had in Seattle. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Hours are not honored
Our server was very nice and attentive. The overall flavor of the broth and texture of the noodles is great. The portion size is medium, and the price is quite high for a bowl of noodles, which makes it feel like a delicacy. You’ll probably need to order more than 1 item to get a full meal out of it. I had the Wanza Mian 豌豆杂酱面

This place has the same owners as Plenty of Clouds and a fairly similar experience where the food is excellent and the menu is almost anti-helpful but the servers are conversant with the vegan side of things. The menu offers a cryptic note that says “don’t like pork? No problem! Sub chicken or braised tofu (vegan).” I asked the server to take me through what could be vegan and her first response was “just sub tofu.” I said…sure, but a bunch of these things say egg noodle or chicken broth. She replied that they have both a vegetarian broth and non egg noodles. And seemed fairly credible. Then it becomes a little hard to tell what the difference between the resulting dish is, but moving on. The yibin burning noodles were one of the top 5 best things I’ve eaten this year—a very unique dish that showcases a very fresh tasting walnut. Also makes use of fresh shiitake (compare to the gross dried shiitake use at Babar). Cucumber based appetizer also incredible. So while the 3 stars is for the pointless friction in the ordering experience, the food is incredible. Eye wateringly expensive for a remarkably vibeless place but it is the heart of Amazonia. Really wanted to like it, but it took over 40 minutes to get our order on an almost empty evening. Not even a check in to tell us it'll be a while (unclear why it took so long).
Noodles were decent.

Interesting place to service noodle, pho and other dishes. There is bar with nice decorations, much western style not mapped to noodle
The soup is too salty

Love this place. Noodles are my favorite and every dish I’ve tried is great. Good texture, good flavor, nice mix of ingredients. Broths are clean, not greasy. Plus it’s just very low key.
