The buckwheat noodles were absolutely delicious – comforting and full of flavor. The baby back ribs were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. easily one of the best I’ve had in Seattle. I’ll definitely be back soon!
Our server was very nice and attentive. The overall flavor of the broth and texture of the noodles is great. The portion size is medium, and the price is quite high for a bowl of noodles, which makes it feel like a delicacy. You’ll probably need to order more than 1 item to get a full meal out of it. This place has the same owners as Plenty of Clouds and a fairly similar experience where the food is excellent and the menu is almost anti-helpful but the servers are conversant with the vegan side of things.
The menu offers a cryptic note that says “don’t like pork? No problem! Sub chicken or braised tofu (vegan).” I asked the server to take me through what could be vegan and her first response was “just sub tofu.” I said…sure, but a bunch of these things say egg...
