This restaurant is located in the quiet lower level of Nordstrom downtown. Of course, there is no view to be seen but very few distractions either. Our group of 3 was able to converse without combatting ambient noise. Seating consists of booths along the walls and tables in the center with cloth napkins and silverware. The staff is attentive and courteous, the service is quick in case you're short on time. The menu has sufficient options and the food presentation adds a touch of elegance to your dining experience.

Went for a team lunch - four of us total. Reservations were for 11 am and we were the first or second table seated. Three of us ordered salads (chicken, salmon and simple), one of us ordered a cup of crab bisque and one ordered the chicken sandwich with french fries. The food was very good and well priced for downtown Seattle. Wish the service was a little faster as it was the workday and didn't want to spend too long at lunch but I would go back.

Very good service, very nice salmon, yummy sandwich. A solid choice for lunch.

I always enjoy my visits to the Grille My only complaint would be that the kitchen is often inconsistent and they consistently overcook the salmon. It's dry when it should be moist.

The food is what I expected. This is a good spot for the function they serve. It's not fine dining, but it is much better than a food court. The service is quick and the ambiance is good for an in-store food establishment.

Pleasantly surprised that in 2023, Nordstrom Grill had the best burger in the city. Do try the pasta and salads too, but the burger is absolutely delicious. It's a must-visit for a delightful meal.

A bit over-priced, but ordered tomato soup and spinach dip from them. My husband got a salad. The brownie bar I got was out of stock.

If this is the upstairs bar at the downtown Nordstrom……the best Old Fashioned ever!! Good ambiance! A really good bartender

Everything I ordered was over salted, sent it back and ordered a burger, asked for medium rare, burger was overcooked. At that point my party had were almost done with their meal and I consumed my meal to my disliking. The wait staff made no attempt to apologize and would have been nice to be compensated for a portion of the meal. I will not be dining there for a while.
Our server has too many tables to cover and we had to wait an excessive amount of time to be served. My cocktail took over 20 minutes to get to the table after ordering and our appetizer had already been delivered by the time it arrived. "The bar was backed up" at 11:45 am on the busiest shopping day before Christmas. OK, I can accept that. However, we were told our first choice of appetizers was sold out and we'd have to pick another. Then we chose the calamari and were told by the server "you don't want to pick that; it will take forever to get out of the kitchen". So my partner asked what appetizers were available on the menu. He said all were except the two we wanted. So, we ended up picking our third choice of appetizers. 20 minutes later the waiter brought over our FIRST choice of appetizers (said he found an order in the kitchen). We were happy about that and asked him to cancel our third appetizer choice and asked when we could expect the cocktail. The cocktail and burrata salad arrives 5 minutes later. The cocktail was tasty and the salad presentation was pretty; unfortunately, the mozzarella was old and chewy. That was not nice. So we picked out the tomatoes and ate those. The French Onion soup saved the meal; it was really delicious. While we were having our soup the waiter came over again and asked if we still wanted our third choice of appetizers, which had been cancelled earlier. We said no thank you. The poor server was clearly overwhelmed and not holding it together well. It was a disappointing experience overall and we had to wait another 10 minutes after asking for the check before we got it. Still, I left the server a decent tip even though the service was poor - he was trying. Clearly, management needs to evaluate the staffing levels at the restaurant.

Always a fantastic experience. Food and service quality are always at the top. They always start with warm bread and tapenade. This meal, we followed that with the kung pao roasted brussels sprouts and calamari. My go-to entree is the ginger sesame grilled chicken salad. For dessert, the warm brownie sundae. They have a full bar... The price is always right (not too expensive or too cheap). The wait staff consistently work as a team. I definitely look forward to the next visit.

Quiet evening with a friend, and everything went great. Bisque was great, service was good, and there were so few people, we might as well have been the only customers. Really good experience.

Always enjoy my visits to the Grill. Great staff, good food. My only complaint would be that the kitchen could cook the salmon a little less, just a touch more on the rare side would be swell. Often times seems dry.
