We have been to over fifty Thai restaurants, mostly in the Seattle area, and this place STILL impressed us! The food we ordered ranged from very solid (the mango sticky rice) to absolutely exceptional (the pad see ew, kao soi, and horapa). Strongly recommend Nua Thai!

Solid food, amazing service, and so great to have a spot in the neighborhood open late nights for food and drinks. We need more places like this in Seattle neighborhoods and this is one you should definitely support!

Great Thai restaurant in seattle. I got the how koy (a coconuty Thai seafood curry filled in a tender coconut) and the flavours hit the right spot. Also they do not skimp on the seafood, there was a lot! Overall a great experience for Thai food. Also our waiter was super nice, made us feel welcome and was super warm!

My gf and I were in the area and decided to stop by here as we like Thai food and it was a newer restaurant in the area. I expected this place to have the usual Thai choices, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only do they have the popular choices, but they also do have unique items that you can't get at usual Thai restaurants. We like trying new things, so we decided to order the grilled steak, pork jowl, Kra Pao, Rad Nah, and the Mango Sticky Rice. They were all really good especially the Rad Nah and Pork Jowl. We also tried the soup for the Nam Ngiew which I will be going back to try next time. The mango sticky rice to top off the night was Fire. I would definitely recommend going here if you want to try something different and I love that the menu is big enough where you can try new things each time you go. The price is very reasonable too. I for one, am definitely going back and bringing my friends.

This was good Thai food for an American palate. The big issue was that the protein amount was low and the flavor pizzazz wasn't mind-blowing, so it didn't match the high price point, even for Ballard.

I decided to stop by after a long day at work and I was starving. The atmosphere is satisfying especially on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the beef pad thai with a Thai ice tea and the wait time was short! The thai ice tea is made to perfection, and the pad thai was absolutely delicious. Probably the best pad Thai I had in the Ballard area! The employees here are very attentive and friendly as well.

Excellent place!
This new Thai spot, Nua Seattle, is fantastic. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere felt inviting, the service was attentive, and the food truly hit the spot. We tried the Sukumvit and Mae Ploy for cocktails, both looked and tasted fantastic. For food started with the Peek Gai Tod (Fried Chicken Wings), then I had the Gang Keaw Waan (Green Curry), which had a wonderful depth of flavor. We finished with the Mango Sticky Rice and it was a perfect sweet ending. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I'm definitely looking forward to going back and exploring more of their menu.
