I appreciate the work put into making the cake...However (and unfortunately), this was honestly the worst cake I've ever tasted in my life. The frosting was thick, super hard and when cutting through it, the cake actually collapsed and broke into pieces. No one who tried the cake finished it and at that high price point, I'm honestly
disappointed. I ended making a GF box cake from PCC that was šÆ better. Definitely not recommended.
Savory Empanadas are amazing!

Every time Iām on 15th, I give them a chance and every time, I am disappointed. Everything is dry, lacking in flavor, and overpriced. Itās 2025, gf food shouldnāt be this bad.
We stopped in and tried a variety of items. The Pumpkin Maple Donut, the Strawberry Donut, and Lemon Bar were not good at all. Iām not even sure how to describe it, all had a horrible flavor. We took one bite and threw away. We also tried the Banana Coconut Cupcake, favorite out of everything but wasnāt anything special. Had decent flavor but was a bit dry. The Raspberry Crumble Bar was also decent but overall was too sweet and left an acid burn? in both of our mouths. Not the best experience but also not the worse either.

Best cake Iāve ever tried! Full of flavor, with just the right hint of cinnamon. The cream cheese frosting was silky smooth. Tastes homemade in the best way.

The food is pretty good hereā a bit pricey but as someone who canāt tolerate gluten it used to be worth it. I have been eating here since 2019. I love the cheese danish, the eclair & the quiche the most. Unfortunately the service here currently is bad. The last several times Iāve tried to order from here either no one comes out from the back for up to 5+ minutes, they donāt acknowledge me as a guest, or are blatantly rude. The most recent time I tried to order from here will be my last. I went in on 10/5 in the early afternoon and there was an employee behind the counter who did not acknowledge me when I entered. They were just looking at the iPad but not entering anything into it. The person who was in front of me in line had taken a seat as I was walking in so it seemed the transaction was complete. After a minute or so I politely asked āare you ready to take my order?ā. They refused to take my order and said āIām in the middle of something!ā. A few minutes later a customer came out from the bathroom and the employee asked them what they wanted. The customer said āIām not ready yetā and asked me to order first. The employee said āNo. I already entered in what he (pointing to the person who sat down) wanted so you need to order firstā but she wasnāt ready and needed to talk to the person she was with. After letting this go on for another couple minutes I decided to leave. Itās unfortunate because they used to have 2 really incredible staff members that seem to no longer work there, but I donāt want to spend decent money somewhere I donāt feel respected.

I had their eclair and it was soggy and very hard. Was very disappointed. Also, it smelled kind of nasty in there, and the attendant was not at the desk. I feel kind of nauseous now.

I stopped into the Capitol Hill store last Tuesday (9/23) to order a cake for my partnerās (who has celiac disease) birthday to be picked up Saturday (9/27) an 8 inch red velvet cake.
I honestly am pretty disappointed in how the cake came out. When I received it I immediately thought that it didnāt look like red velvet cake at all, and Iād see red velvet cake in the shop before that looked completely different. I asked the person working at the time of pickup and they confirmed that it was red velvet.
I took the cake home and served it just a few hours later. It was hard and very dry. we felt that it had been made too long, maybe even days before and just kept in their fridge. The top layer of frosting was so dry it cracked apart as we cut it.
Weāve had many, many gluten free/vegan cakes before and none of them were like this. On top of that the cake was certainly not red velvet and tasted nothing like red velvet. Of the 8 people I served the cake to, all of them agreed that it tasted nothing like red velvet. Iām upset considering this was quite an expensive cake for the size.
On top of all this, the worker in the store said I āprobably couldnāt get a refund becauseā I āordered in store and non onlineā has anyone ever heard of that?? Lastly I brought up the red velvet not being that and described it to the person working and they said āyeah thatās the red velvet, itās just how we make itā so, I guess you canāt trust that the flavor your order is what youāre going to get here, and they donāt care what you think.

I ordered cupcakes from here for my wedding for my gluten free and dairy free guests. I did this months in advance to ensure my friend could easily come in the day of the wedding and grab the order. I come to find out, when my friend went to pick up the order, they never prepared it. Apparently the staff working that day didnāt have any sense of urgency or understanding of how this was a big problem. After begging them to figure something out they put together a box of cake slices and cupcakes, whatever was left from the day.
I reached out via email to figure out what happened, but never heard back. This is completely unacceptable, save your money and go elsewhere.

Was really excited about this place since Iām celiac. It has now happened twice where I showed up on a weekend (around 2pm) during open hours and the store was closed with a note saying theyād be back. I totally get needing a break or being understaffed but it happened both times I tried to go, which I feel like especially on the weekends it would be nice if it was open when it said it would be. I ended up waiting and when I did go in the employee was sitting on her phone and seemed super disinterested. The donut I got was really good but the eclair was pretty dry and flavorless. Overall not a terrible experience but definitely some things that can be improved.

Great little GF bakery. You have to have the tiramisu. The space is small with little seating, but the food is great.

Customer service was not very satisfactory, whomever answered the phone was incredibly rude and did not want to clearly make any money. I called simply to request a cake and got told that there was no bakers nor inventory. Do not recommend.

We were celebrating a birthday and had a family member in town who was gluten free. After getting some local recommendations, we decided to get a carrot cake from Nuflours. The customer service on the phone and in person were very helpful. Everyone loved the delicious cake and it was barely noticeable that it was gluten free. I appreciated that they wrote a Happy Birthday message on top. I would definitely come again for gluten free options.

Cookie large but not in charge. Cookie had limited leadership potential because it lacked cookie leadership instincts. It prefers to be a medium good cookie, its comfortable in the middle, not as risky. A cookie for sensitive people.
