Drive all the way here for my pick up order and the store was closed without any notice.
One of the best local bakeries you're going to find. If you go to UW, you need to order cakes from here. The sweet lady turned a cake around in 3 hours, completely customized. I asked for a Mario style cake. She was also so warm and kind throughout. Would come here again every time!
This place is a hidden gem. It's super underrated. My favorite is the egg tarts, which are super affordable, and then the cakes in the plastic tubs. Not too sweet. Great place for a light dessert after a meal! Most of the desserts here pair very well with hot tea. Would recommend 10/10
Great cakes with lot of options and owner was very sweet!

The cakes here are too good to be real. Normal bakery add tons of sugar into their cakes, but this shop perfectly balanced the sweet level and creamy taste.

I bought the thousand-layer cake, and it was obviously stale. The cream was dry, and it didn't taste good. Service was ok, but cashier wasn't knowledgeable about products.

The worst bakery ever. When I arrived they only had limited options. Had pork in almost everything. Imagine the cakes with pork eek

My fiancé and I called ahead to inquire about purchasing a wedding cake from O Dessert. The owner said she could prepare some samples for us. When we arrived, she gave us samples of the vanilla and taro cakes. They both had a nice light and fluffy consistency with lightly flavored cream in between the cake layers and on top. While it wasn't quite what we wanted for a wedding cake, the cake is good quality for the type of cakes they are. Also, we really appreciated the customer service.

I used to love this place. However, this time I bought 2 cakes, both are stale. The matcha cake: the cream tastes sour and the cake itself is so dry. And for the pork floss mochi cake, the mochi is hardened and the cake itself is also very dry. I doubt if the merchant sold food made before Memorial Day. It tasted obviously expired… very disappointing.

It was an interesting experience, but I'm a bit confused why it's prominently named "Dessert". Or why it was supposedly worth $15.
I placed an order from them on Too Good To Go*, and the store and person behind the counter seemed nice enough. But when I opened the bag, all I found was one unsweetened sponge cake, slightly smaller than a Twinkie, with a light frosting of what I can only guess was salt and bits of seaweed held together with a bit of cream cheese or mayonnaise. And almost as an afterthought, a single one of the several small (about the size of a half-dollar coin, and a thumb's width deep) "egg tarts" that had been sitting out in a tray in front of the register.
* - An app for fighting food waste. Usually stores give you a good amount of what's left over at the end of the day at a big discount (i.e. "$15 worth for $4.99"), in exchange for you not having any choice and they're extras the store would otherwise throw out.
