O Maki is always on point! Portions are generous, food is delicious, and service prompt and kind.I had been here before but this time my mom and I went here for my birthday lunch. We left with leftovers, enough for me to have a snack and dinner! They serve bottled beverages, and do serve some wine and beer.I definitely recommend the peach rice wine if you like sweet and fizzy.

I love this place - the handrolls and the sushi are made right there. Teriyaki is pretty good, smoky and sweet, all in a bento. The raw vegetable salad is a nice change from the lettuce. Service is very friendly and quick. 3/24/24 - got the nicest looking bowl of chirashi that I've seen in many years. Includes eel, which is

We are big fans of O Maki. Found it by chance when we first moved to Seattle, and its earned a place in our regular rotation. The kids love their basic rolls, and we love their chicken teriyaki and salmon poke bowls. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the quality is impressive. The prices aren't pretentious, either.Vegetarian options: Lots of non-meat rolls, as well as a tofu bowl.Kid-friendliness: The staff has always been very warm and welcoming to our 4- and 7-year-old daughters. The menu has simple basics for picky eaters, too.

My partner & I were on the hunt for chicken katsu curry & the photos here looked good, so we decided to give it a try. I got the curry, he ordered 3 basic rolls. We have Japanese food 1-3 times a week so perhaps our standards a little higher than others, but everything we ordered was awful, down to the green tea. The quality of ingredients is cheap & bottom of the barrel and despite their efforts to make it pretty & look edible, it’s just not. The sushi rice was overcooked, the rolls had way too much rice, the tuna was such terrible quality our stomachs are still gurgling 15 hours later. The curry was somehow chunky & watered down at the same time & the chicken served with it was slimy & inedible. I’d give them a break if they charged low end prices, but it was $70 for 2 people & I can think of 6382 other places to better spend $70 on dinner.

Mid at best. Save your money and buy some frozen P.F. Chang’s from the Fred Meyers bc it’s the same (or better). Literally tasted like bottle sauce thrown over chicken with 85% rice. If you want better quality for the same price go to Satay bar down the street. This is too expensive for what it is. If it had been about half the price, I would have been ok with it. Will never waste my money here again.

It’s a quick stop in place. Probably best for take out. It was the only place open & I was craving sushi. It was OK, I don’t think I would go back. The roll was very thick & cut into 6. It probably should have been thinner and cut into 8. Each piece was so large it was difficult to eat in one bite. The flavors were mediocre. It’s way better than grocery store sushi, but not as tasty as a nicer restaurant. The rolls I bought were $18 each, which is what I would expect to pay for a higher quality roll with elevated flavors.

Tiny details can be overlooked, not this place. From the rice to the service everything seems effortless. Sushi is reasonably priced and so delicious. If this place is going to be your first time having sushi you've picked a great spot.

The food is amazing. Our go to's are shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon rolls. For hot foods we get chicken katsu, and spicy chicken teriyaki. Best bang for your buck and delicious. It's been hit or miss getting our delivery orders (ie ubereats) completed, but it's worth ordering to go and picking up myself.10/10 recommendWill add photos next time; ate too quick and plates are empty.

Nothing good or bad to say about this place. Mediocre at best. Dont know that I'll be back as I can get better elsewhere for the same price and effort.

If you are looking for a spot for relatively inexpensive fast sushi this is your spot. If your not doing sushi I would really recommend the chicken teriyaki, they do a good job with it.

Sushi rice was dry, steamed veggies were cold, salmon was below average, steak was chewy.

Delicious, high quality, and fairly priced. The spicy teriyaki bento is a must and the Amberjack Hamachi is smooth and expertly cut.
