I have been to Seattle many times to visit the North West Washington area, after discovering Old Salt on Google a few months ago I was putting this on my bucket list for the next time I was back. Needless to say we were not disappointed. This place is amazing and was well deserved the visit from Texas.

Obsessed with the everything bagel (toasted) + chili cream cheese
Best bagel spot in the area hands down!! The bagels are fresh, tasty and with the right amount of crispiness to them. It is also a very good coffee spot and the staff is always so friendly and nice!!
P.S. Reading some of the past reviews on here prior to posting, I am shocked to hear anyone not liking this place given the bagels are always fresh and flavorful!

It’s a nice, clean storefront with a cool, old school look which seemed promising but the bagels are inedible. We took one bite of the everything bagel - which was heavy on the onion but with no salt? - and threw it away. They aren’t really bagels - more like a weird, donut-shaped unsalted, half-baked bun. I’m so sad if this is what people think bagels taste like, but I haven’t yet had a good bagel in Seattle so maybe this is what passes for one. However, this was by far the worst of the ones I’ve tried. The spreads might be good - not sure as I didn’t try them.

Bagels were so blonde, barely baked, misshapen, and the Everything has so little seasoning on it they should rename it to the Something. The bagels have the same texture and structural integrity as a Kings Hawaiian roll. The smoked fish spread has microscopic amounts of any fish.
Three times now I've been burned, hoping they would get the quality up, but I'm pretty much done with this spot.

Best bagel I have eaten in Seattle! My 1 year old finished most of my bagel so I went back immediately for another. It was so good! And all their cream cheeses are amazing too! chewy, warm, not too filling....really great!

Food was good but I wouldn’t say it was worth the price. Also their chai was not great, very earthy and had a mouth numbing spice that was off putting. You could probably pass on this place.
