POV: Sunday morning, post-Saturday night seattle shenanigans. I'm talking 3 a.m. dance floors, bus, next place, no sleep, another club. But now, as the sun rises over the city, I'm craving something real, a taste of comfort, a dose of familiarity. All I can think about is this places sesame bagel, but it's not just the bagel itself, it's the chili cream cheese that makes my heart skip a beat. Make sure you get your bagel toasted, I feel like it’s a big hug on my plate on a crisp fall morning. I mean, who needs a significant other when you have a bagel and cream cheese combo like this? That first bite? Pure bliss. If you're looking for a bagel spot that truly gets it, a new Sunday ritual, look no further. Old salt F&B is more than just a breakfast spot, it’s a sanctuary for the soul?
Damn, this place is good.

Busy, but efficient. Poppyseed bagels were loaded with poppy! Great tasting and light bagels. Excellent made in house lox and salted cod.

Bagel was good but not great. $3.50 for a loose bagel is insane.

Delicious bagels and bagel sandwiches, especially the lox and salmon options they have. Loved them.
Kid-friendliness: Fun for our daughter. The bagels are prepared at a bar. She was able to watch the whole time. Lots of puppies out on the patio, and she loved that, too. Her bagel w cream cheese was delicious. She loved this place!

Super tasty i go here somewhat regularly, 4 or 5 times now.
Weird thing is 4 times out of 5, going at varying times and days, I some how get attitude from the staff? Like eye rolls and stuff like that... admittedly i have trouble hearing and its loud in there and I have to ask them to repeat their question once and sometimes twice which i guess can be frustrating... But this is one of the few places I've ever been where i think to myself "XXX sounds good, but do i feel like catching an attitude for some unknown reason today?"
This appears to only be an experience i've had so i guess take that with a grain of salt....
Worth a visit otherwise. I like the smoked cod sandwich.

Been here two days in a row. I got the veggie sandwich. My boyfriend got the kippered salmon sandwich and the same sandwich with lox. They were excellent! The bagels were crispy and pleasantly chewy haha. They will ask if you want your bagel toasted. Great environment and nice and fast service. Will keep coming back.

Bagel lovers, this is the spot. These bagels are so soft, chewy, moist, flavorful, and the right bit of crunchy. Your senses will delight! The shmears are delish. My husband loves their fish products, I keep it veggie. If they offered an onion bagel and an egg sando option it would push it into the realm of utter perfection. Mimosas would be a great extra touch too.
You can always find a place to sit if you wanna enjoy it there. The online ordering makes takeaway a breeze. Grab some bonus bagels to slice and freeze for your at-home fix - that's what we do.
The price is on the high end but that's typical for Seattle. The thing about this place is it's actually worth it. Nothing compares and we've tried them all, just about.
Nom. Nom!

Bagels are a wood-fired style with various salmon accoutrements. Strong flavorful espresso.

I like these bagels…they are crispy and chewy and salty. The lox sandwich was slightly too salty for my companion but I didn’t mind it. This is not a place to go for a deal, you will be paying more than you want to for a bagel sandwich. That being said, it’s up to you whether or not it’s worth it. Definitely not an everyday stop but a yummy weekend treat!
As a P.S. I will say that the bathroom is shockingly dark…like dive bar dark…like crawl space dark…my pupils were like •__•

So I am on a mission to find my personal best bagel in Seattle, so naturally I ended up here to check it out. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and lox, and it was very good. I think what they do right here are the bagel sandwiches with fish; I don’t know that I love the bagel on its own though. It is chewy and I know that is how some people like them that way, but I want more bite with each bite. I liked Old Salt, but not sure if there’s enough to bring me back.

Bagels are a little pricey but really excellent smoked fish bagels. Particularly love the black cod, unique and delicious.

Great bagel option — will have to come back for some of the amazing lox/fish/roe/etc offerings — only got a bagel and cream cheese. Herb was our favorite because of the strong dill
