Bagels are a nice mix of chewy/airy, not particularly dense end of the spectrum (untoasted).
My personal favorite bagel spot.
Sandwiches can get pricey but a bagel with cream cheese is reasonable.

it was soooo delicious the fish was so flavorful and bagel perfectly crunchy. a bit overpriced for the sandwiches in my opinion 😅 i would still come back though 🤣 just to try the other types of fish because it was so delicious

I’m so sad to make this review. I was an old salt regular ! My husband and I are vegetarian and order bagels with cream cheese, sometimes I add avocado and pickled onions to mine . Everyone is very nice there. But unfortunately we have found pieces of fish in our bagels twice now in the center where they were sliced. The first time we gave them a pass but the second time it was clear that they don’t clean their knives in between sandwiches. It’s really disappointing as their bagels are delicious and I love their cashew spread.

Their lox and kippered salmon bagel sandwiches might be the best in the city. The fish is incredible.
The bagels are really solid too, maybe a little inconsistent in size and seasoning but not enough to keep me from loving every bite.

A nice little spot with solid bagels. Experienced a few service mishaps but everyone was quite friendly. Prices are pretty typical for Seattle. Would probably bite the bullet on smoked fish next time.

The best bagels, smoked fish and cream cheese. Plus my favorite chocolate chip cookie in town.

Food was okay. Quantity is very less for the price. I got the smoked cod sandwich and a small drip coffee and it cost me $20.

Old Salt is my favorite bagel spot in Seattle. The herb cream cheese is the best, in the summer time they gave amazing heirloom tomatoes... They also have good coffee and hibiscus iced tea.
As a New England transplant... I'm hoping they add egg and cheese to their repertoire one day. I'm not holding my breath.

I’m obsessed with this place. You can see them preparing everything behind the counter, which I always love—and everything just feels fresh and full of good energy. The bagels and cream cheese are incredible—perfect texture, great flavor, and you can tell they really care about the food they’re putting out.
It’s got that neighborhood vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. Definitely in my top 5 favorite quick breakfast spots in Seattle right now.

Excellent flavors in their sandwich. The fish was really high quality and delicious. Went with the Smoked Cod sandwich and it was awesome.
The bagel it comes on I'd give a 4/5, as its texture wasn't what I preferred, but it was still a good bagel. Didn't have quite the crunch/bite that I want on the exterior, but it did have the right chew.
Don't let most reviews fool you, this is one of the better bagels in Seattle and closer to an east coast bagel than most within the city.
I'd give them a 9/10.

Amazing ambiance, sweet staff, and delish bagels. Pricey but worth !! I also had a phenomenal coffee here better than the one at Milstead & Co from down the street!

Both the Kippered Salmon and Smoked Cod bagels were amazingly chewy and crunchy, something both my wife and I appreciate. It’s pretty close to NY quality for both of us. Parking can be a bit challenging but if you’re patient, you’ll get something.

It's meh. For 16$ you aren't getting anything special. House made lox sounds good, but it is hard to get right, and they didn't. Store bought one is better. Nice touch with a bit of caviar on top, but overall not worth the money.
