We recently visited the Old Salt location in Ballard and loved the whole experience. The storefront is so charming, the colors really stand out! While there isn’t indoor seating, there are some outdoor spots to enjoy your food. Parking was surprisingly easy, with free street options nearby. I’m from NYC, my whole family has lived in Brooklyn and NY for generations. Old Salt makes the best bagels in Seattle IMO without exception, and I’ve tried many, many places throughout the city in the 10 years I’ve lived in Seattle. Their cream cheese is also incredibly balanced and delicious. Also the prices are right. Bagels should be cheap to buy even when they’re this delicious. This place nails it on all accounts. Thank you Old Salt, I feel at home.
Had the best bagel sandwich ever here. The kippered salmon on an everything bagel is delish! The staff is super friendly and the location is so cozy. Sad that I don’t live here and can visit this place every weekend. I will be back!
