We had the pleasure of enjoying high tea at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, and the experience was nothing short of elegant. The ambiance blended classic charm with quiet sophistication, setting the stage for a delightful afternoon. A special mention goes to our server, Emma E., whose attentiveness, grace, and warm professionalism elevated the entire experience. Her impeccable timing and thoughtful recommendations made us feel well cared for without ever being rushed. Whether you're celebrating something special or simply indulging in tradition, this is a teatime worth savoring. 🍰🫖
We had a very nice experience today mostly because of our server Emma. She was professional, extremely personable, and just a lovely young lady.
Olympic Bar has a great vibe, but our server really let us down. There was this bald waiter with black-framed glasses who was pretty cold. He didn't really greeted us and just had a terrible attitude. What really got us was that he kept slamming his tray loudly right behind our seat, making us so uncomfortable we actually left early. It was annoying to see him cheerfully chatting with other tables while ignoring us. The service quality was totally inconsistent. Fairmont, you should really look into training your staff better if you care about customer experience!
It was INCREDIBLE in every way. The food, the service, the setting. We looooooved it! And zenesh our waitress absolute 10/10!!!
Our group of 6 really enjoyed our afternoon tea. Our server, David R, took very good care of us - he helped with tea selections, cheerfully answered questions about the hotel's history, and kindly took pictures of our group. We were celebrating a special occasion, and David helped to make it even more so. Many thanks.
Beautiful hotel, served me the wrong drink but it was still very good.
Cassie was a delight! We had the best time. It's been ages since I've been to the Fairmont and the updates look incredible.
I did not realize when booking, that we would be seated in a couch and chair seating area with a coffee table versus at an actual table. This made eating somewhat awkward, and I would've much preferred a table. Our server was fantastic and was very helpful! My only complaint, other than the seating situation, was the fact that they were out of Earl Grey tea. All that said, it was a fun experience with my girlfriends to celebrate two birthdays.
The waiter was not engaged as one would think with a high profile establishment, he took his time and was condescending. With the price you pay-$48 for two brandies, I would expect top customer service.
We loved the place, the only one change I would make is incorporate a larger variety of savory items as opposed to sweet.

Definitely a recommended high tea experience. We typically stay at the Fairmont Olympic when visiting Seattle. This was our first time trying the tea experience. Ambiance is very high end, intimate, and classy. We love the vintage vibe. Tea and food offerings were excellent. Our server David makes the whole experience well worth it. It's great to see service so passionate about what they do. We were seated in a perfect place more secluded from the main area in the library area which we adored. We will definitely come back again:
I coordinated an Afternoon Tea at Fairmont Olympic as a belated gift for my mother-in-law and we both LOVED everything about it: the food, the service, the tea selection, and most of all, the ambiance (we requested seating in the library area). We leisurely sipped our tea while we chatted and read and it was exactly the kind of serene environment we both needed. David provided excellent service as usual - he's delightful!
We usually reserve tea service at the Fairmont before the opera and this time, the event fell on Mother's Day. Tea service was a little bit more crowded, but there were extra servers. Emma, David, and others are always exemplary and one of the many reasons we return to the Fairmont.
Average tea experience. Savories were yummy. Service OK, tea warm - not hot. Valet disorganized.
Cassi was our tea server, she was just phenomenal! The food was over the top! We have decided to make this a yearly event! Thank you!!
