On Safari catered my daughter's wedding reception. They were outstanding in every way - from Elizabeth, the Operations and Catering manager, to Hannah, our incredible wedding coordinator, to the amazing food and service and staff at the reception. We had a vegetarian and vegan menu, with nut free and gluten free options and On Safari set it all up beautifully and it was all absolutely delicious. Thank you all so much!

When we first had a tasting, it wasn't quite right and we were pretty worried about the final outcome. I sent On Safari blunt, honest feedback, and they truly listened and adapted our menu until it was exactly what we envisioned. The food at our wedding was delicious, the communication and collaboration was excellent during the menu creation process, and everyone was incredibly kind and clearly cared deeply that we were happy with the meal. Also, our main coordinator had a serious family emergency the week before our wedding and handled it with incredible grace and professionalism. She stayed communicative and made sure we felt confident that everything would work out perfectly despite the fact that it would have been completely understandable if she had to take a step back.
Four stars because the accounting department accidentally overcharged us (did not seem intentional at all and they corrected it after we caught the issue) and because we had to pay $250 for a second tasting after the menu items from the first tasting were disappointing.

Elizabeth Zipper, the operations and catering manager, was extremely responsive and easy to work with as we planned the details and menu. Eric, the chef, prepared a delightful and delicious meal that our guests just loved. The lead server, Tony, did an amazing job organizing, serving, cleaning up and making sure everyone had what they needed. On Safari showed expertise, professionalism and the staff had a fun vibe that helped ease my worries all night. I will be hiring them again for our next kid's Bar Mitzvah down the pike.

Definitely recommend giving them a try as thejr service is very competitively priced and their planning service is responsive and extremely polite!

We hired On Safari for our wedding. We were very excited to find a caterer that could put together a fully vegan menu. The food was delicious! Our guests really enjoyed the meal. There were a few small issues, however. Despite a 30-40 person headcount, they did not bring enough alcohol. Only a few minutes into cocktail hour they realized that they were low. This was resolved, but it was frustrating that they were not prepared. We were also disappointed that the staff continued to bring up the issue. We had a day-of coordinator who could have assisted with handling the issue, but instead the staff came to us (the bride and groom) several times, and told our family members as well. This was also the case with broccoli being brought instead of broccolini. While that was a minor issue, we did not want to be told about these things while we were enjoying the day. Overall, the food was the positive takeaway.

What an amazing experience! We had a large birthday celebration catered by On Safari foods with a delicious taco bar! Everything was so flavorful and fresh. The home made chips and salsas are to die for. The chicken tinga and beef barbacoa as well! Definitely 5 stars!
