Food was fantastic. Completely reminded me of our trip to Italy. Looking forward to returning and trying other items on their menu.
I hadn't been since a late weekend lunch years ago. I thought it was expensive... and it sort of is for one person. Portions lean towards the generous and rich, like Italians tend to do. Imagine.
Did the same thing, heavy late lunch, more like Happy Hour on a nice sunny day.
I am impressed!
Pizza al Tonno was fabulous.
Tagliatelle panna e funghi was decadent.
Shared these two with my wife, and we have leftovers. NOt sure how tuna will fare in the next reheating, but it is worth it. Given
that fish's habit, just chill it again, and on the even # re-heats the fishy aroma and flavors are subdued.
Sorry I didn't take any photos.
Staff are friendly and attentive, food is delicious.
Delicious. We had the wood fired. Pizzas and my friend even had the wood fired Nutella dessert pizza. So good!
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough. I just wish I lived closer.
Went here with some lifelong friends who go there a lot. We enjoyed everything from the calamari, to salmon, shrimp and pancetta risotto, and the ribs. It’s a small family owned restaurant in Burien with good food. They work hard to please people! I see a lot of comments about credit card fees-I do t understand the co cern-LOTS of businesses are charging fees for card use because the bank fees are ridiculous!
Amazing food, very accommodating staff and quick service! I will say while I do like the dim lighting, I do wish it was a smidge brighter, I had a bit of a hard time reading the menu clearly at dinner. I see perfectly well with my glasses, so I don't have vision problems apart from that; for someone who has vision issues or partial blindness it may be near impossible for them to read a menu in this lighting.
Fantastic restaurant. Great food and the owner treats like family.
Ive been here on a few occasions now and I like my experience. The owners are operators as well and clearly take pride in their work. I respect and appreciate that. All the food Ive tried so far has been delicious. This place is a nice feature of downtown Burien.

Ordered takeout. Pasta was overcooked and not enough sausages. I also noticed they charged me a 3% fee for using a credit card. If they want the benefit of being able to take credit cards they should pay their own credit card fees. WTH.

I used to like this place and haven't been in awhile, but it seems to have lost its way. Pasta was way overcooked and despite the description of a white wine, garlic, and lemon sauce all I could taste was salt. I had to ask for some lemon to cut the monotone flavor. They also now pass on a 3% fee to use a credit card, which should be a cost of doing business or maybe "hidden" in the already high prices. Service wasn't great either. I wouldn't recommend and I won't be going back again.
In response to your response...I didn't get the feeling that you would be gracious with any feedback in the moment given the general demeanor of staff. But receiving/accepting honest reviews about the food and service definitely is part of doing business. I'm sorry, but it just wasn't a good experience overall.

Fantastic food at very good prices. Very friendly staff and owners. I have been there several times recently. Their handmade pasta is exactly what you would hope for. The first time I was there I ordered a shrimp dish and the shrimp was perfectly cooked which is difficult without overcooking. My wife ordered the pistachio Gorgonzola pappardelle and she’ll never order anything else because it was that good. Her second dish equally as good as the first. I ordered a filet mignon tonight with prosciutto and Gorgonzola that was perfectly medium rare, although pretty salty (which I prefer). If you want quality service, good prices, and flavorful Italian food, you’ve found it. Go support them and enjoy a wonderful evening.

This is a small place and the demand was high on a Friday evening. We waited for 30 minutes, but it was worth it. The food was delicious. They were prompt with their service, although we had to repeat ourselves to one of their servers. The atmosphere was quiet enough to have pleasant conversations.Highly recommended....if you are patient.
