I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is amazing, the restaurant is so beautiful, and the staff is fantastic.
We went last night for my husband's birthday (having hosted large and small groups before), and we were so well taken care of. Our server Sam was so helpful and so sweet
Of note: the Calamari Fritti was dope, and the Tagliotione was de- freaking-licious!
You better go get some! đ

Nice place to go for a drink and hang out at the bar or in the lovely outdoor seating area. Service was friendly and competent. Sorry to say the food was just not that great. Basic italian fair made to sound like it was all hand crated but pretty low quality. One of those experiences where we all wished we had hosted at home and saved the $700. Any one of us could have made better.

We really wanted to like La Spiga Osteria, but our experience fell short in several ways.
First, our server gave us the wrong information about the bread that comes with the cheese plate, which led us to order the calamari. The calamari was severely overpriced â $22 for a very small plate of thin, over-fried pieces. Definitely not worth the money.
The pastas were fine, but portions were small for the price. To make matters worse, one of our pasta orders was wrong. They remade it, but by the time it came out, one of us had already finished eating. These things happen, but there was no apology beyond a quick âsorry,â and no effort to make it right.
Finally, when the bill came, we noticed they had upcharged each pasta dish by $2 compared to the menu. I had to ask the server to adjust it â not exactly the kind of attention to detail or customer care youâd expect.
Overall, between the overpriced appetizers, small portions, incorrect order, and billing issues, this was a disappointing experience. We wonât be returning.

Basic italian fair made to sound like it was all hand crated but pretty low quality. One of those experiences where we all wished we had hosted at home and saved the $700. Any one of us could have made better. Still - we could get a table for 8 last minute on a Friday so do consider this place if you need a restaurant for a large group. Fancier than Bupo di beco but I think the food is not as good.
Our cocktails and wine were fabulous. We really dig the seasonal caprese with heirloom tomatoes as well as many of the old standards such as the lasagna and divine truffle tagliatelle. I tried the new shrimp and polenta dish and it was good; my husband had the crostata and really enjoyed that. The patio was a great place to be on this lovely evening, and Wendy was a terrific server as per usual.
Food was wonderful, service very slow at first but then sped up dramatically. The main arrived even before the appetizer was cleared. Over all would definitely go back as the food and atmosphere were both great!
We had the roasted peach with burrata and prosciutto appetizer which was yummy and satisfied our summer craving, but entrees were something we had to grit through. The gnocchi and lasagna were incredibly salty. It was like taking a bite of ocean water with each spoonful. Good drinks. Great service. Lovely atmosphere but unfortunately the food just doesnât make up for it.

This place seems to be like fine wine, getting better with age. The cocktail skills and backbar are excellent. The staffing is adequate, (as opposed to understaffed).
The menu hasn't changed all that much, but, little need to mess with a good thing. Happy Hour gets you a couple bucks off some food and drink items, not much more. Though we do seem to find ourselves here more at that time of day, so, I really can't comment on what it looks like during a dinner rush.

Food was mediocre. You can easily find better Italian for the same price elsewhere. Great seating options for large groups.
Great food and excellent service.

Great server delivered excellent wines, bread and salads along with bland entrees. Trout and lentil special was massive ( 2 trout included) but utterly dull. Much better food when we visited previously
Osteria la Spiga provided excellent service; the staff were attentive and friendly, making the overall dining experience very pleasant. The pace of service was perfect not rushed, but also not slow. I was very impressed... definitely will be back soon!
