So glad this place is in our neighborhood. Great bar, very good Italian fare. The lasagna is tops and the bartenders are superb with thoughtful suggestions.

The food was passable with most complaints surrounding seasoning choices (or lack thereof). My choice was sausage and mushroom. This is what I got. A piece of pork sausage under seasoned and cut in half with quite literally a pool of melted mozzarella(?) cheese that you would find as a pizza topping or what a kid would do to cheese in the microwave. There were a few mushrooms that were tasty but not many of them thrown on top. No sauce of any kind. The dish was accompanied by what was essentially fried crispy polenta stuffed with more melty cheese which somehow had absorbed enough grease (butter maybe?) as to be literally dripping from the bottom. My dining partner ordered pasta and was treated to a small amount mounded in the center of a plate. Not sure how but it was ragged. The pasta was bland and the sauce so sparse that I believe they dipped a basting brush in sauce and painted it individually on the tops of the pasta. The meat in the sauce was basically non-exist any with tiny bits dotting the pasta here and there. The ambience as delightful and the wait staff were phenomenal, but the star of the show was definitely not the food or the value. Huge disappointment.

Osteria La Spiga is consistently delicious. It's one of my favorite spots to go for date night.

Went on Wednesday of Seattle restaurant week to avoid crowds. Chose the $50 option. Service took long despite us being one of only 6 occupied tables. Server was talking with the bartender most of the time. Appetizer was lunch meat advertised as “cured meats”, cold roasted eggplant/peppers, and a whole chunk of Parmesan cheese. Our 2 entres took over 30 minutes to arrive despite us ordering lasagna which we could tell was made in bulk. Ordered some drinks and the total came out to $350 with tip. Left feeling price gouged and unsatisfied.

Delightful meal. This restaurant leans into elegant simplicity — and it honors Italian cuisine by elevating the basics and not overcomplicating classic flavors. I would definitely go back.

Came here this past weekend with some girlfriends for a birthday dinner and we were unfortunately so let down by the experience. The food was completely flavorless, we ordered 2 of the bread offerings, which are hard to mess up but even those weren't good. The pastas were all bad (we ordered 3), the braised beef had a strange texture. The atmosphere is fine and the wine selection was good. All that to say, save your time and money, this place was not worth it at all. Bummer

We had a quick dinner before a show and everything was fabulous. Really nice to know that the quality and restaurant experience remains outstanding after many years in business.

This is why Restaurant Week is so good: it re-introduces us to old friends! What a treat, and delightful, delicious evening!

If you’re craving Italian in Seattle, this is the spot! The lasagna is incredible — rich, comforting, and perfectly made. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great choice for date night. On top of that, the staff really knows how to take care of you. Highly recommend!

A bit disappointed this time. Have been here before and lived the food. This was underwhelming. Quality of the food was really a step down. Grilled veg and caprese salad a bit bland. Uninspired. Understaffed so service a bit slow. House red wine tasted old.
