Boyfriend surprised me for our date-iversary with dinner at the Salo Salo popup! I always love seeing Filipino food celebrated and done in different ways. Our server, Jake, was incredibly attentive and nice. He even gave us a complimentary dessert for our date-iversary!
Salo Salo is only here for a limited time, so definitely come and experience it while you can ????

Visited for the Salo Salo pop-up with my family! We enjoyed the modern takes on Filipino classics! (adobo wings, bistec & skewers were our faves)

We ordered the Lechon belly w/garlic rice, chicken skewers, and the Ukoy. Everything was so delicious! Oh and their chili vinegar condiment was so good that we ordered it to go. The service was even more amazing, shout out to Alayya, our server! We would totally come back for another Filipino pop-up. :)

I went in with a friend to try the Salo Salo Filipino fusion pop up in Otium grill and greens and it was spectacular! The Lechón was delicious with the sauce, the garlic rice was addicting, every dish had so many flavors and just so tasty. The pork skewers were so yummy I could eat 10 of them honestly. Overall it was a combo of elevated dishes with the touch of homey-ness that comes with Filipino food. The drinks were also spectacular shoutout to the bartenders. The service was very attentive by everyone, and overall just a great dinner experience. My friend said she was happy to see more Filipino representation in Seattle and would definitely come back as well. I would recommend everyone to try this pop up!

Got the Autumn squash, Pepino and crispy garlic rice. Total was $50 and the best thing was the crispy garlic rice as it was the only thing properly priced at $6. The squash was tasty but it was maybe 4oz of puree and 4 slices of eggplant. Not worth $22. The $14 pepino was half a cucumber, 7 cherry tomatoes and a few slices of red onion. Again refreshing but for $14 I was expecting a bit more.
Overall tasty but not worth the Michelin star pricing.
