During my morning walk, I popped into Overcast Coffee for my regular iced latte. It was anything but overcast! The coffee was spot on and the service was quick. The cafe was inviting so I stayed to read a bit. I definitely enjoyed my morning while at Overcast Coffee.

This was our 2nd cafe visit in Seattle, and my mom ordered a medium sized Americano with half and half. She said the coffee was mediocre-it was very diluted. BUT the service was amazing-very nice and sweet.

Very cute coffee shop! Unfortunately, the person working was extremely rude. We are visiting from out of town and the person I am with does not speak the best English. The barista asked dairy or non dairy, and my boyfriend responded “with dairy”. Then the barista proceeded to then explain the meaning of dairy to my boyfriend and that here in Capitol Hill dairy means…. I mean are nice manners to clear up or “explain” things. I even asked the barista “how are you” when I approached the register and received no answer. I understand people have bad days (I am a server and have experience in customer service), but to be blatantly rude due to a language barrier is unacceptable.

It was a delight to find out they were open on Christmas and not only open but totally packed with a line out the door. Turns out I wasn’t the only “non Christmasy” person looking to support a small business today. I ordered a cold brew with caramel and it was delish! They have plenty of seating, it’s cozy, clean, and has a great vibe. I’d highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area.

Absolute vibe. Came here on Christmas day and the team were energized and the coffee was excellent.
Great quality coffee. So smooth tasting. Not too sugary. Perfect mix. We’re coffee addicts from out of state, happy to find an amazing coffee shop near the bars in Capitol Hill. I got a dark chocolate mocha and my boyfriend got a lavender latte. Loved it!

Best coffee joint in the neighborhood. These folks are efficient, friendly, and just generally helpful! Two of the baristas went out of their way to give me advice for getting a winter coat when I had just moved to the area. I instantly felt welcomed and taken care of. Amazing coffee, incredible vibes.
