During my morning walk, I popped into Overcast Coffee for my regular iced latte. It was anything but overcast! The coffee was spot on and the service was quick. The cafe was inviting so I stayed to read a bit. I definitely enjoyed my morning while at Overcast Coffee.
This was our 2nd cafe visit in Seattle, and my mom ordered a medium sized Americano with half and half. She said the coffee was mediocre-it was very diluted. BUT the service was amazing-very nice and sweet.
Very cute coffee shop! Unfortunately, the person working was extremely rude. We are visiting from out of town and the person I am with does not speak the best English. The barista asked dairy or non dairy, and my boyfriend responded “with dairy”. Then the barista proceeded to then explain the meaning of dairy to my boyfriend and that here in Capitol Hill dairy means…. I mean are nice manners to clear up or “explain” things. I even asked the barista “how are you”...
