Went here for St Patrick's Day. Had corned beef and cabbage, which was delicious.
We go here because they have the Seattle Fire Department pipes and drums play here, which is a really fun time.
They have a good selection of hard alcohol and beer.

Used to be awesome. Now the price of beer is more than other bars that are cleaner and offer games and more beer options.

We went for a jazz night on a Tuesday and it didn’t feel like a Tuesday vibe, completely packed. We did find a place to sit and enjoy the music. The crowd was energetic and the staff was friendly.

I revisited this place for the first time in a while and was surprised to find that they now charge $10 plus tax ($11) for a pint of micro brew. (as of 2/22/25) I drink beer all over this city and that is the most I’ve ever paid. That includes white tablecloth restaurants on down. I’ll certainly never be back and I don’t see how anyone would make this their daily boozer. Talk about cutting your own throat. Go broke, who cares?

Where else are you going to go in Seattle to hear Celtic music and tip back a Guinness? The Owl N' Thistle rocks!

My only complaint is the service. Whichever waitress is supposed to service the dinning room didn’t greet us until 15 into us sitting down. We got our drinks and then tried to order the Irish soda bread because my friend had never tried it. Never got it after sitting there for nearly 45 minutes more. Waitress was rude and inattentive. Don’t go there on a Saturday night after 6:00 if you want to be given any thought at all.

On an average day, this is a bad spot. They have a couple larger rooms but seem to only offer service in the back, a dingy, windowless and charmless room. Small TVs at the bar. Dirty tables and floors, never cleaned even after ordering food. Entrees served on paper plates. Small fish and chips is not really enough to represent a good meal, but priced as if. Ten bucks for a draft beer as of 2025. My sense is that they get crowds from football and have live music nights, so their pricing is based on that type of event. There are much nicer bars and restaurants, even up by the market, if you want to pay tourist trap amounts. No way to recommend this place.

Like some others have said before me, their older short blonde haired waitress is awful!!!!!! Do not go here if you want to feel welcomed at all. The worst service I’ve ever encountered. She was so rude and clearly did not want us to be there. Left after her rudeness and took our business elsewhere.

We came here shortly before a Seahwawks game and I mean SHORTLY, it was packeddd. The line to the bar stretched across the hallway infront of the kitchen.

They served us quickly, and everyone was super nice during the wait. Even with people blockading the kitchen, they were kind and not frustrated at the patrons blocking their route. would come back on an off day
