I don’t usually want to reorder dishes immediately so I can take them home with me but during dinner last night I wanted to do exactly that. But the problem is the chef values quality and takeout isn’t a thing there. So I’ll have to go back. Darn. The food was just fantastic. We gushed from the start to the finish. Normally we don’t order dessert but we couldn’t resist. The menu changes a lot so I won’t describe the food but you really can’t go wrong.

We shared the tomate salad, beef tacos and the albacore tuna tacos. It was the perfect amount for dinner. All three dishes were wonderful.

This is a very good restaurant. I ordered the chocolate chicken. The chicken was tender, but the chocolate flavor was overwhelmed by the spices. I had tried a variation of this dish in Mexico without spices, which I much preferred.

Came here to celebrate my birthday thinking there was a tasting menu, but it was sample menu :) The Chicken in Mole and Pork Chop is a MUST! It was perfectly cooked and has a homey feel. Sorbet was unique and simple. The Brisket taco was a great bite, but then you realized its $16 lol definitely worth the try. When trying to order the Housemade sorbet, it was a bit confusing. You're getting 2 scoops of each flavor when you order, so 4 total scoop (not a pick and choose). The Ear Grey Horchata is thick just like how I like it. I never had gordita, but I didn't really understand it nor was it extremely flavorful. We were excited about the Tiger Pawns, but it was overcooked with no chew and you can taste the intestines (probably an one off). My bro sent it back, but the aioli pairing was so good. It was our server Adriana's birthday yesterday (Happy belated birthday and sucks that you had to work). She was quick on her feet and even got me some stickers!
It was a weird day; when we got there, the host started to walk us to our table, but it wasn't set so we had to wait another 5 minutes. Midway through our dinner, a young girl fainted on the ground next to us as she was wobbling towards the restroom, she got up and continuing dining 20 minutes later. Glad she was okay.
Parking: Neighborhood parking. Good luck!
Wheelchair accessibility: Its on ground level with no stairs

Had an amazing dinner tonight at Pancita. We tried 3/4 of the menu and everything was outstanding! So many flavors. You can tell the food is made with a lot of love. The service was great and the bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining each dish. Would definitely recommend!

This restaurant is located near the Laurelhurst area on 55th.
Parking is only available on the street, and it's important to make a reservation because it does get full quickly, but the bar top is an option also.
It gave me vibes of a small café on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta. Unfortunately, you're not paying for the views here, it is in a pocket neighborhood adjacent to UW overlooking a street if you are at a window seat. Inside, the atmosphere was cozy, and the restaurant was filled with friendly conversation.
Service was friendly and professional, and they kept our waters filled and made sure our needs were met.
The description states new American & Mediterranean, but it's not. It's simply elevated Mexican food. The food was flavorful and fresh as they made everything to order, but we did not have to wait long. And you wouldn't need to. The portions are small, and although the ingredients were fresh, I had a tough time with the portions.
Midas 4-stars for the freshness of the dishes and the kindness in the service.

Excellent experience at Pancita, from the food to the service. It was a little loud in the space, and the only slightly disappointing item was the too savory/oniony mezcal martini. Really excited to have this joint in the neighborhood, we will definitely return for a future special occasion. It was a bit pricey, but what isn't these days!
Highly recommend everything we ate - the tuna tostada was our favorite dish, followed by the brisket taco, pork chop, and dessert tamal. Great mezcal and wine selection.

Oh dear. After trying to get a table for months, I got one for my birthday weekend. I brought my Mexican husband hoping for a much needed celebratory meal. We went to order most of the menu only to find they were out of the dishes we came for. My nixta cocktail tasted like water. If you send out half a chicken or a pork chop, don’t send four tiny tortillas….send eight. We call all get masa from Masienda these days….don’t get stingy on the tortillas! The food that did come out was excellent and they comped us a nice dessert. The restaurant just doesn’t seem to have transitioned from excellent pop up food to a full service restaurant that can do the distance, service after service.

The best and most authentic Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico, and made with an inventiveness and skill that made every dish unique and delicious.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible. The restaurant is on one level, and its entrance is directly from the sidewalk
