I don’t usually want to reorder dishes immediately so I can take them home with me but during dinner last night I wanted to do exactly that. But the problem is the chef values quality and takeout isn’t a thing there. So I’ll have to go back. Darn. The food was just fantastic. We gushed from the start to the finish. Normally we don’t order dessert but we couldn’t resist. The menu changes a lot so I won’t describe the food but you really can’t go wrong.
This is a very good restaurant. I ordered the chocolate chicken. The chicken was tender, but the chocolate flavor was overwhelmed by the spices. I had tried a variation of this dish in Mexico without spices, which I much preferred.
Came here to celebrate my birthday thinking there was a tasting menu, but it was sample menu :) The Chicken in Mole and Pork Chop is a MUST! It was perfectly cooked and has a homey feel. Sorbet was unique and simple. The Brisket taco was a great bite, but then you realized its $16 lol definitely worth the try. When trying to order the Housemade sorbet, it was a bit confusing. You're getting 2 scoops of each flavor when you order, so 4 total scoop (not a pick and choose)....
