These people do such a fantastic job from, cooking, to service, to management. They are a such a gift to the neighborhood. Even their delivery people are so kind and pleasant. Thank you!
It was my first time and had an amazing experience. The veg lasagna was AMAZING. ❤️❤️
This place has some really good pizza and calzones! Service is pretty fast, and the portions are a good size. Great for take out or delivery! Dine in can get a little loud and cramped depending on when you go.
We like this place. Just setting expectations. Very family friendly service, environment is clean and relatively minimal for an Italian restaurant. Food is what it is. A family owned (and so - better) version of Olive Garden.
Great family dining!
A great neighborhood restaurant. Good food at a fair price.
Unfortunately the food here was disappointing. We got pizza and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was dry and the pizza was greasy. We also got the beet salad with goat cheese which was decent. Huge menu with lots of options but we were not impressed with the dishes we got.
My favorite place to eat in Ballard - the food, the staff and the atmosphere are all a delight, every time! They even cater to special dietary requirements and do a vegan pizza with actual vegan cheese (rather than just the bland stuff you’d normally get in most places), and their wholewheat crust is to die for! They also do the best dolma and the best hummus veggie platter. My whole family and I keep coming back, thank you!
This place clearly doesn't need my 5-star review because everyone seems to agree. I just want to share my experience from today, hoping the proprietor sees it.
I was in Ballard to get my nails done. I parked outside Palermo and was pretty sure it was OK that I was partially in the loading zone because today was a holiday. As I was fiddling with the app to confirm that the meters weren't requiring parking payments, a waiter came out to let me know I probably didn't need to worry about paying for parking because of the holiday. I'm originally from the Midwest, and really miss this sort of friendly interaction between strangers in public spaces.
I went to my mani-pedi and decided I was so happy about that small kindness that I'd go have late lunch there. Oh my gosh.
For $16, I got unlimited soup, salad, and bread. (In this economy!!) And not a bait-and-switch "mixed greens" salad listed on the menu that turns out to be white iceberg lettuce. (We've all been there. It's so disappointing.) No. This was a HUGE salad with GREEN greens, an entire roma tomato sliced, lots of crisp cucumber, chunky shredded mozz, and black olives. With a gigantic side of delicious Caesar dressing. The soup was incredible. Topped with fresh basil--such a nice touch. The bread was soft on the inside and toasty on the outside.
The waiter said it was the guys in the back who urged him to go tell me about the parking earlier. So the WHOLE TEAM there was just...*chef's kiss*. Such a delight today. I'll definitely be back.

The food is good and decently priced. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. The music was at a good volume, so you could still have a conversation there.
