I did not expect to find a Caribbean restaurant with this quality of flavor and love in it in Washington. I just landed with my brother and we decided to stop here and I'm glad we did! How often is it that you enter an establishment and the OWNER greets you?! Pam you are amazing at what you do and I look forward to tasting your peas and rice *Rice and Peas* again! Thank you!
Disappointing. Ordered the ribs. They were dry and didn't taste as if they were made that day. The sauce was off. Some ribs were super salty. The rice was decent. Also had an appetizer and some dessert. They weren't bad. The cassava cake was tasty. I thought I'd give this place a chance, but I regret coming here and spending $80. I would much have rather spent $20 at a fast food restaurant.
Jerk chicken place was spicy and full of flavor. I also tried the oxtail and let me tell you it is to die for!!! Paratha was flaky and delicious and the cassava cake with ice cream was smacking. And Pam is wonderful lady and everyone needs to come to this restaurant !!!
