I normally support small businesses, but I had a disappointing experience at Pawin Thai. After ordering takeout, I politely asked if I could sit and eat inside (the restaurant was completely empty). I was told I wasn’t allowed to, which felt very unwelcoming and disrespectful as a paying customer. It’s unfortunate because the food seemed promising, but the way they treated me made it clear that customer comfort isn’t a priority here. I won’t be returning.

The yellow curry alone is why I’m giving this place 5 stars. The first time I went it’s what I ordered and it was SO good it’s been the only thing I order from there. Every bite (I’m not kidding) I say “ oh my god this is so good “. It is that delicious!!!!!!!!!! I have also ordered the crab ragoon which was really crispy and delicious. Wait time is quick, service is great. It’s small inside but I usually order to go. Photo is at home in a bowl I put it in.
Good spot for lunch. I recommend the pad thai and the lunch special is a good deal also. I recommend eating in rather than takeout, for just taste better that way. Also when ordering the curry, be careful of ordering level 4 spicy and up. They don't mess around.

Degrading experience when I ordered take out but sat down to eat some of my food before class. As I was eating their food, the waitress stood over me with a disgusted look on her face, she told me I'm not allowed to eat their and that I had to leave. No explanation was given. I was embarrassed and shamed, feeling like I had done something wrong. I politely apologized and told her I'll leave. If there is a policy that customers who order take out are not allowed to sit down at their tables to enjoy a little bit of their food, then it needs to be politely explained. I love their food and wish I was more welcomed to keep enjoying it. More respect and customer appreciation should be given by the owners and staff. Business should be much more than a dollar.
