Awesome Pizza! But the real reason I am writing this is I have been sick with Long Covid for nearly 4 years, which turned into Heart Failure nearly a year ago landing me in the ER for a week. I have no appetite, but late last night 1/3/24 Pizza sounded awesome. Placed an order with Papa Johns in Lake City through DoorDash. They immediately canceled the order! WTF?! So I called Papa Johns to ask them why it was cancelled (they were still open for more than an hour)! I talked to, I assume the manager (wish I got his name!) and he said they had a glitch in their system. But he was able to manually put the order through DoorDash, and I paid with a CC. Think he said 33 min. I am used to getting updates by email and texts, and received none. I was thinking the worst about the time they were closing and thought maybe I will just make sure it didn't show, and my Pizza was there!! The kid pulled through, and by the way, he was a pleasure to deal with, Class Act! Kid, wish I would have got your name! Thanks!

There pizza is great with reasonable prices, only thing I dislike is the third-party delivery portion. I've encountered too many issues with delivery that unfortunately makes me anxious when ordering from Papa Johns.

Exceptional! The process was quick, and my order was ready exactly when they said it would be. The staff was friendly, and the pizza was hot and delicious, with the crust perfectly balanced and the toppings generous. Papa John's in Lake City has definitely mastered the art of providing a speedy and enjoyable pizza pickup experience, making it my preferred choice for a tasty and convenient meal. Kudos to the team for their efficiency and great service!

The quality was great, food was tasty, but there was only 1 person working due to someone else calling out. We ordered 2 pizzas on thin crust and 1 NY style. We totally messed up by not checking before we left to make sure it was correct, so when we got home, we found that the 2 thin crusts were on regular crusts. Not the end of the world! What we did get was still well made, and we ate it. Mostly felt bad for the poor guy who was overwhelmed with football Sunday pizza orders. So I guess my review is that they need to hire more staff... but we'll still be going here for our pizzas.

I placed an order in the app assuming it would default to the location I last ordered from which is this store but it ended up going to a store really far away, near where I was when I placed the order. When I got here I was devastated by the news but this man named Colton stepped up and saved the day. I called the store that made my order and they cancelled it so my dude Colton over here remade my order for me. I really appreciate these guys remaking my order on the spot although it was an honest mistake. I hope this guy gets a promotion, a raise and a big hug.

I find Papa John’s to be the worst of chain pizza places - honestly I’d even much prefer little Caesar’s. But conveniently this opened up next to my work, will rarely eat here but pizza is still pizza. The employees were friendly so I’ve no complaints, they can’t really help their product is subpar (in my opinion. Papa John’s is some people’s favorite - who knows why).

The pizza looked like it was carried on its side for delivery. The whole pizza was crammed to one side of the box.Also, 45$ for delivery of a large with 4 toppings, seriously even with the 18% mandatory tip, Fiddler's Inn is 10 times the pizza. Jet City is also much better for much less. Whoever this franchise owner is, they're way out of touch with what Lake City is.
