The dishes were flavorful and the portions were so big I had to take some home. Lovely vibe and helpful staff throughout the night. Setting is gorgeous and the waiters are professional. 10/10! I’ll definitely return.

Okay, so I just tried this Somali place in WA 98118 and wow, it was amazing! It’s a little bit of a drive out there, not super touristy, which I actually liked. The food was incredible – seriously, the goat was so tender and flavorful. The portions were huge, and the rice was perfect. I ordered the goat and chapati, and it was a steal for the amount of food you get. The couple running the place were so friendly and welcoming, really made us feel at home. Parking was a bit tricky, maybe go earlier to beat the crowds. I’d definitely recommend bringing cash, the card machine didn’t have a tip option. I'm already planning my next visit!

Okay, so we just tried this Somali place on Rainier Ave and wow, it was amazing! It’s a little off the beaten path, which was nice. The goat was unbelievably tender – seriously, the best I’ve had. Portions were huge, we practically left with four meals! The rice was perfect and they gave us a free banana, which was a lovely touch. It wasn't super busy when we were there, which was great. The couple running it were so friendly and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to bring cash, the card machine didn’t have a tip option. Definitely going back!

Just tried this Somali place on Rainier Ave and wow, it was really good! It was packed when we went, so we waited about 20 minutes for a table. The portions are huge – seriously, we were stuffed. The goat was amazing, really flavorful and tender, although a little spicy for me. Prices were reasonable. I’d bring cash as the card machine didn’t have a tip option.

This place is delicious! I got the rice with goat and the chicken the the flat bread. Goat spicy, chicken not spicy. All of it was so tasty. The spicy level on the goat was perfect (not Seattle spicy, actually spicy) and the chicken was so flavorful

I love this place i always get super spicy 🥵 but next time im going to tine it down so i can enjoy my food a but more, i need to learn how to cook like this . If im in Seattle in the area i refuse to eat anywhere else.

I wish I took a photo, but the smell alone had me tearing up my bag to start eating. Try the goat, chicken and sambusas! Can’t go wrong. Will be coming back.
Owners are kind and have a discount special for the month of Ramadan. Just try it!

The most amazing tasting and price worthy food I've had so far in Seattle ❤️ I was starving and after what I had previously, nothing seemed good and it was pretty late and boom. Stumbled upon Paradise Restaurant and I haven't had anything as good as this in a long long time!!! Cook to order food and the owner is really nice. I honestly was so close to tearing up from how good this was. I got the #3 with mild spice. So happy ❤️

Before I made up my mind to rate with my own experience I had with this restaurant, I couldn't help reading what other customers had already written about it first to cross-check my to-be-made comment with the already made ones for curiosity. To my surprise, as WAY opposed to my presumption, above 90% of them showered both the restaurant and its service with abundant appreciation. But it dawned on me that almost all of the reviewers are non-Somalis. So, I felt obliged to say mine as a Somali. From now on, I am about to switch the language to Somali as I believe that non-Somalis have already been spoken to enough. But, if you don't speak or at least read in Somali, I hope you will be too smart not to infer "what I am about to say" from "what I have already said".
Traditionally, we, as Somalis, don't even think to open the evaluation section, let alone read it to make a decision whether we want the service or not. Anyway, in the end, if you are reading my reaction, the mama is there and she will let you know what she has if you just put up with her stubbornness as she talks to you like a mob searching you at a checkpoint. To make matters worse, when you complain about being rejected, it is obvious that you were the one who was asked, but your other friend said so. Come on! That night and late as I had to go, I did not return to the door for a single night satisfied.
On the other hand, their food is good for me, so is the seating and cleanliness of the place; In my rating above, I have therefore given four points to the food and another four to the atmosphere. The only thing I don't know is how long he is still alive but I am sure he died long ago is the service.
I hope that she will read this review, and then she will agree. All the time, ink, brains, and effort it took me to write this review I hope I will forget about the changes I will see the next time I am interested in you. Kkk... Then, if I see that you have corrected yourselves, I will come to you in love.
A horse that is already running is hit with the stick again and again "let it run faster". I wish you success.
Goodbye.

Located far from the usual hot Seattle eatery spots this place definitely deserves the loving! Yeah yeah the outside and the interior could use some work but who doesn’t love a no frills place that focuses on you just getting good food? This was my Dad and I’s first time trying Somali food and we were super impressed! The goat was so tender and well seasoned. Perfect cooked long grain rice. We got the chapati on the side which was cooked perfectly too. Sad we missed the sambusa but we’ll definitely be back for that and the other stuff. Not sure if the guy we talked to was the owner but he was nice helpful and friendly too. They take card but I’d recommend bringing cash because there wasn’t a tip option on the card machine.

Delicious food at a good price and good portion size. The employees we nice. The only problem I have is the customer seating area could use some touching-up and the parking lot seemed to have broken down cars in it so customers have to park elsewhere.
