Felt the main star of the show was ultimately lackluster

Tiny little place in Pike Place Market. Very difficult to get a seat to sit and eat. The food, however, is AMAZING! I had the pomodoro sauce and my daughter had the venison ragu. We both got the burata. We loved our dishes!

The al dente is legit here. Obviously not as al dente as Italy, which is good cause I cannot handle that much al dente 👀

We shared the venison ragu pappradelle and the seafood gemelli, both were delicious, but the venison ragu pappradelle was the standout. Pastas are freshly made! Would definitely be back!

The venison ragu is the best pasta that me or my girlfriend have ever tasted. Cannot believe it took me this long to try this place.

By the time I post this review, the menu will probably be different. They make fresh pasta every day (we were at Pike Place around 8:30 am one morning and saw all the prep work). There was a line when we went on a Thursday afternoon, and it's a bit of a scramble for counter seats. You order, try to find a spot, and listen for your name.
When I went, I got the seafood pasta (they also have meat, veggie, lasagna, and pasta with their housemade rossodoro sauce). Mine had anchovies, escarole, olives, and breadcrumbs. It was super umami and tasty, and a good-sized portion too. I'd recommend stopping by if you're at Pike Place. It's a little less touristy than other places.

Great food but a bit on the pricy side. We had the Lasagna and the Venison Ragu. The lasagna tastes like chicken pot pie with a lot of peas. The versions ragu was great with a slight game taste (as expected from venison) but by far the best of the two. I would come back to try another dish.

I got there 5 minutes before they closed. The guy who told me to leave was sarcastic and rude.

yeah it’s really really good pasta, ingredient combos are seasonal and really well thought out,, any low reviews are from people who tipped over 20% and expected to be waited on at a counter-style restaurant ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

The picture does not look like much, but don’t be fooled- the lasagne was amazing. It had an incredible white sauce, peas, and sausage… the lasagne was creamy, flavorful, and authentic. The béchamel was rich but light, the peas added a fresh touch, and the sausage gave it the perfect savory depth. Perfectly layered and cooked. Highly recommend this place, wish I lived closer to explore some of their rotating dishes.

This is my favorite pasta spot outside of Italy. It it tucked on the back side of Pike Place Market, top floor right by the wooden Sasquatch/Bigfoot sculpture. The menu rotates every week or so, with three mains to choose from: From the Ocean (seafood), From the Farm (meat), and From the Garden (vegetarian). They also keep a few staples like lasagna. People say it is pricey, but for fresh, authentic, homemade Italian pasta, it is on par, if not cheaper, than comparable restaurants. All the staff and the owner, Michela Tartaglia, are incredibly kind too! 10/10 recommend!
