?? The pan dulce is very delicious and authentic Mexican bread. The only downside is that they don't take debit cards, you have to pay cash only ???? but the pan dulce is really worth five stars. ? Definitely worth the one hour drive. ????
I ordered pan de muerto 1 week ahead of time and when I arrived they said there was no order and no bread. So disappointing but their bread is good usually. Thanks
the bread is always warm and the staff are super friendly been going there for almost 15 years and never disappointed.
Ok, for now a solid 4 star. If this panaderia was consistent in what they carry they would easily be a 5 star. Everything is made fresh daily which I love. As stated, you never know what's going to be available so you get what you get. I love that they often, not always, might let you in before they actually open to get pan dulce when it's still warm. Not a guarantee but a score if you time it right. They are a true mom and pop shop which I love to support and you should too! Bring some coffee or hot chocolate with you because I almost guarantee you will sample as you drive away.
I am from LA and was visiting WA, I will say hands down this is very much the same and maybe even better than the pan dulce in LA Latino neighborhoods! The conchas and panes rellenos are soo good. I wish there was one out here in CA
the best pan dulce. the conchitas are my absolute fav. i remember adoring them as a child and they are still the best I've had. las gelatinas are also top tier
Really good Mexican bakery, only thing I don't like that it's only cash, and attendant are not very friendly, need more care with customers and their needs, but great hand made bread and pastries
Delicious treats & excellent cakes
Nothing really wrong with the place it's just that you gotta be early in the morning or when it opens to get the good bread that just came out of the oven. It taste way different when is warm. But hey así somos los mejicanos.
The haul minus the bolio. You have to get some bolios!! We're from out of state and I'm used to have a panaderia nearby at all times. While I stayed in Seattle I was looking for some pan dulce and this spot did not disappoint. We got lucky and some of the bread had just come out of the oven Grateful for the bread y por mi gente.
My boyfriend loves Tres Leches and I happened to be around the area and heard that this was a great Mexican bakery... and it sure freaking is! I got the Tres Leches and Niño Envuelto (Mexican jelly roll). I gave her a $20 and she gave me back $14.... So you mean I got two items for $6?! I usually spend about $8-11 for a Tres Leches, smaller size and okay tasting. Be sure to stop by for amazing Mexican pastries and be sure to bring cash! There's an ATM next door at the grocery. I will be back! :)
Delicious and very fresh
I like the bread is always fresh and has a good taste
