Solid 3-star college/sports bar. Service is friendly, but slow. Food was okay, but I wouldn't go back for it... fish was freshly fried and hot, but the chips/fries were not. Pool tables and plenty of screens to watch whatever sports are on. Bar food served late.

This place is a typical sports bar in a college town. Cheap drinks with a drink/beer of the day, decently priced bar food, pool tables, and games on every screen. The first bartender was friendly and checked in on us multiple times. We definitely came early enough to beat the rush on a Friday night!

Earls on the Ave offers a mouthwatering fusion of grilled cheese and mac and cheese... a culinary delight that has left me in awe and will undoubtedly become a late-night staple in my life. Not only is the food exceptional, but the staff is also incredibly friendly and engaged. I wholeheartedly recommend paying this place a visit next time you're on the Ave!

I really can't say enough about my experience there....I LOVED IT! The wings were AMAZING and the lady that I ordered from was even more amazing. Can't wait to go back. They even have a huge screen and multiple tv to watch the sports games. Terrific experience!

My handsome friend sent me a post-marathon snap of the food and it looked utterly scrumptious. The wings were coated to perfection and the waffles fries were crispy and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Drive bar, no food before 4pm. Music too loud after pm, as well. Probably not my scene because I'm over 40.

I went there to have a drink with my girlfriend, bouncer rejected my ID, my green card, saying I needed a valid US ID. After I show the part where it clearly says United States of America he continued rejecting giving no explanation.idk if bouncer is just ignorant, racist, or a total d to all customers.

Feel safe with bouncers at the door since there is more activity on the ave lately. A pitcher of beer is super cheap ($20 ish), and parking isn't terrible on a Friday night. There are many TV's for game nights and pool tables for those who don't care about the game. Overall this place is a good time.

Quick review. This place is a classic college town dive bar. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice. Prices seemed fair. The night we went was busy because of a show at the neptune + a meetup scheduled before hand and a baseball game. We didnt try the food, I had a beer that while it took a little while to get because the tap had blown it was very nice. My wife had a vodka drink because it was the special. Both were fine. No issues. If I had one small complaint I would recommend throwing some ice or something into the mens room trough, the smell of old urine was pretty aggressive.
