I tried this place twice for takeout and the food and service was awful.

The first time I ordered, I came in and they said my order will be done in 5 minutes, and I came in when the order was set to be due. That became 40 minutes to get my food. The restaurant was not even busy.

I decided to try them again and I got the nigerian fried rice with some beef. For $24, the amount of beef they gave was small. And half of it was not even edible, and it was chewy. The rice was full of oil and was alright.

This was my first time trying Nigerian food, and without reference to other examples I enjoyed my experience.

I ordered the jollof and goat meat, the Odogwu beef stew, and fufu. The jollof and goat meat was very flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy, and the rice was tomatoey and savory. I've always wanted to try fufu and was both surprised and pleased at how easy it was to swallow! It was a perfect accompaniment to the stew. Unfortunately, though the stew was also very flavorful, a similar tomato-forward flavor as the jollof, I found the beef to be extremely dry and tough. I will probably get a different kind of meat next time.

I am very disappointed with my order of the beef stew "ofada beef". I read it contain beef meat and cow skin, but there is no meat in it. This was an almost $30 dish to have no meat in it. I understand traditional foods, but when you charge this much, you should make sure you provide adequate parts of the contents of the dish. I would not have paid so much to eat cow skin.

I like the food and everything, but I dislike paying extra money for goat meat, only to get cowskin, tripe, and then goat meat in my family size egusi. It's bothersome to pay for food you didn't ask for.

Their fufu is amazing! I do wish they have more meat in the stews.

I'm Nigerian and I was missing the taste of home so I was happy to find a Nigerian food place in Seattle. If you love Nigerian food or you want to try it for the first time. This is not the place for you. The food is not good, the oil they use to cook tastes old and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The meat pie was salty and none of the soup I got was good because of the oil. It took me an hour to drive there and hour to come back and after such a long drive I wanted the food to be worth it and it was not. Save your money and your gas and wait for a worthwhile Nigerian restaurant to open up. I have faith that one will open where the cook makes delicious home cooked authentic food.

Overpriced and some of the food was bland (meat pie. The rice) the chicken in the chicken and Jollof was pretty good though. They only have takeout btw.

I got the jollof rice, egusi soup and asun.
I was famished so I ate the egusi soup first, it was okay, remember I was hungry. For the asun, I don’t understand the taste. As someone who lived in Nigeria most of my life, this might be an adaptation of asun but def not asun. The jollof looked like the rice and stew were cooked separately, then mixed together. I could not place the taste of the stew. It didn’t taste like a Nigerian restaurant type stew. More like an adaptation of everything. I would suggest the owner reviews the cook’s recipes -Hilda Baci is still taking students. I really want the restaurant to succeed but I have to be honest in my feedback so the cook(s) can improve.
