We ordered two of the veggie rice plates which come with salad, hummus, and dolmas. We'd heard good things about the hummus, but were surprised to see the plates come without it. It took about 15 minutes to get the server's attention (they never came to check on us) and when we requested the hummus that comes with it, we were just given a single tiny plastic condiment container from the fridge.

The food was underwhelming.

Weird vibe in this place - bright lights, no music, and people coming and going constantly for to go orders. Some weird bathroom smells wafting through that air occasionally.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Seattle! I literally drive from Tacoma just to eat here — it’s that good.

The food is always incredibly juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite.

I actually catered my wedding from here three years ago, and it was a huge hit with all our guests — everyone loved it.

Customer service is amazing — the staff are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which makes the whole experience even better.

I will definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in Seattle. Highly recommended!

The food was so good we went back the following week. The portions are large and enough to take home.

I ordered Baghali Polo with Mahicheh and specifically asked whether the food was fresh. I was told that it was fresh. However, when the food arrived, it was cold, and the meat was completely frozen in the middle, which clearly indicated it had not been freshly prepared.

When I asked who the owner was, the server told me it was Mr. Kaveh. I then asked Mr. Kaveh directly, and he informed me that he has not been managing or operating Persepolis Restaurant for about six months.

This experience was disappointing, especially given the incorrect information provided and the condition of the food. I would appreciate clarification regarding management and food handling practices to avoid similar issues in the future.

Thank you for your attention.

A week ago, a friend and I came for a lunch. We were not aware that this place was overtaken by new owners.
We hoped to enjoy the same delicious food we have been enjoying for several years coming to this restaurant.
Upon entering this restaurant, we were met with a very potent, unpleasant smell, that we couldn't identify what it was. The smell lingered the entire time and honestly, made me nauseous.
The interior now is more as of simple, casual, and somehow felt empty and arrayed. The two servers (a man and a woman), seemed confused and uncoordinated in serving guests. The food I ordered (single skewer chicken with rice) was completely tasteles, dry... The rice in particular had no flavor; tasted as it was made of paper, and I am questioning the color on it being saffron, rather a food coloring, perhaps??? I was unable to complete my single chicken kabob skewer and barely few bites of rice, and had no interest of asking for a box to take it home with me. We also decided to order a tea, and the tea was also blant.
Needless to say, we were super disappointed with our visit to this newly owned restaurant that we very much loved in the past.
I would not consider coming back, nor I would recommend it to anyone.

I ordered delivery, and possibly went a little overboard as it's some of my favorite food. I felt a bit sheepish about the total payment (everything is just expensive these days), but when I received the food it weighed quite heavily in hand. As in, it felt like a bag of bricks, very generous portions.

The food was all excellent, I didn't realize some of it was to be combined and so was a little confused by the crispy rice part, but once combined with the topping it too was delicious.

I frequented a Persian restaurant during college and always loved the chicken koobideh, so the beef koobideh received was especially wonderful.

Don't miss it!

Some of the best food in Seattle. Met the new owners today and they seemed really nice. The food waa great as always. I had the Koobideh. New owner, Pooya, has already made some improvements and has plans to spruce up the place. Can't wait to see how it evolves.
