We went with my husband and honestly it was disappointing, I ordered the florentine Bennie with hashbrowns, never got the hashbrown, and the service was so bad, took forever to take our order.

I have been to most every breakfast nook up and down the Sound! This places food is unbelievable!!!! For the prices!!!!
Remember…. The inexpensive prices you are paying for your fare! A restaurants Cost of Goods Sold usually runs st 20% - 30% on Drinks… that being said… the largest amount of a restaurants loss financially is through the beverage service mismanagement! So…When you go to a high end restaurant and you find Espresso grade coffee served see that reflected in the bill. Don’t complain about the coffee… someday you will be old and weak too!!!’

The only thing keeping me from returning here is the coffee. The ambience, service, and food (esp. for the good price) was fantastic, which makes it all the more unfortunate that the coffee didn’t live up to the rest of the experience. It needed both more strength and a higher quality of bean, as it drank more like coffee flavored tea than proper drip coffee. I hope they consider partnering with a local roaster in this land of wonderful coffee. If you aren’t a coffee drinker however, I highly recommend this joint!

Crowded place, expect a bit of a wait. But great staff, and a really nice brunch set of food options.

It's just a homey spot. It was crowded but that just shows how good it is. This has been a neighborhood staple for as long as I can remember.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately, I didn't get the chance. The service was shockingly poor. I understand they were busy, but I waited 15 minutes without being greeted once. There was no designated area for waiting, either. It was only after a couple squeezed past and signed their name on a random scratch pad that I realized I had wasted my time.

Totally chaotic, entrance has no waiting area, no server greeted us for ten minutes while we waited, there’s a blank sheet with names on it with no indicator to write it your own down or have a server do it. The people waiting outside did not seem happy. The servers weren’t smiling or anything. Overall just non-functional front of house, totally nonexistent. Just people figuring out what’s going on which no estimate of when or if you’ll even be seated. When you’re at a restaurant you should be acknowledge, greeted, and informed on what you’re looking at. It’s not often in this upset at a restaurant, I work food service myself too and try to be understanding, but this was a waste of time.

vegetarians beware!!! when ordering to-go, we made mercedes (our server) aware of my gluten allergy and (lifelong) vegetarian diet, but when we got home, we realized i had a meat dish. after confirming on the receipt we had ordered the veggie scramble, we attempted to remedy the situation, but mercedes was incredibly rude on the phone. when arriving to swap out the dishes, she said "why did she eat it if she can't eat meat?" and insisted there was no mistake. when opening the plate to show the bacon, she took it from our hands and said it needs to go in the trash and refused to refund us, again being unbelievably rude. completely lacking compassion. all three of us work in the food industry and would NEVER treat customers so poorly. anyone who's been vegetarian for a long time knows how much havoc this can wreak on ur digestion, and to be treated with so much contempt has left me absolutely astounded. waste of time and money

I never leave a bad review ever, but this service was sadly terrible. Mercedes was very clear about an allergy and gave us bacon in the food and did not provide a refund at all. They remade the food but threw it down & were genuinely mean. Food was mid BUT, human to human, we would never treat anyone the way they acted. Cannot support this business & very regretful of their nice tip.

0 Stars** HORRIBLE customer service. Not sure why mercedes works in customer service when she obviously doesn’t know how to. Came here to pick up breakfast for a friends bday. Our friend has a meat and gluten allergy (which we did state when we ordered!)so we decided to come here due to them having gluten free and vegetarian options. Ordered a veggie scramble. When we got home she took a couple bites and realized her order had meat so we called to have it remade. Not only did we have to drive 20 mins back to pick it up upon arrival we were expecting a refund for the inconvenience but we were met with extreme rudeness and attitude from mercedes. They had made an entirely wrong order and then she had the NERVE to say “why did she eat it if she can’t eat meat she should have noticed can’t she tell”. Last time i checked when I order something especially from a new place I should not have to inspect my food to make sure it’s correct. Then she took the previous order out of my hands to throw away when i said we had someone who could still eat it instead of being wasteful. If being wasteful and rude is this restaurants policy then they should reevaluate. This is our first and last time coming here extremely disappointing for a local business.

Food is quite bland and not worth the price. Cold burrito costs 17USD. Won't come back.

Solid choice for breakfast. Won’t be gorgeous, but it’ll be tasty and filling and you’ll have great service while there.
