I went in to get an Iced Vietnamese Coffee. It was delicious, not too sweet and the coffee was perfect. They had some gifts and such for sale including this amazing looking waffle mix. I stayed for a little bit and enjoyed the peaceful space for a while. I went early on a Sunday and was the only customer I'm sure it gets busier later in the day.

This cafe was adorable! Such a cute little community center. The staff was so friendly and created such a warm atmosphere that spread to the customers. The coffee was so good I went back for seconds, and the waffles were absolutely delicious. 10/10.

I normally I get coconut coffee but I like the blended type not the coconut cream type. Pandan and black sesame seems to be a regular item on the menu at most
I love to check out trendy coffee shops when I’m out of town. Have never seen yogurt coffee, not even in Orange County, CA and decided to try that. I knew it would be a gamble because I do not like the tarty sour flavor of Vietnamese yogurt.
My first sip and immediate reaction, I did not like. Definitely that wiff of sour tartness shot up my nose. Not to mention the semi thickness texture. As I took another sip, I’m starting to like it. It’s tolerable but I wouldn’t get it again.
It was well balanced with coffee and condense milk.
I love that the menu is basic and doesn’t offer a lot of fo-fo drinks.
So much culture in this cafe. Tons of cultural books both for adults and children.

The shop is a bit cramped with limited seating and furniture. The specialty drinks are actually just ok. The waffle is pretty good but could be better than when it is less airy.

The shop was very charming and inviting inside. My husband and I ordered ahead online to avoid finding parking. They got our order wrong and tried to correct it but ended up making the wrong size. We opted to let it go as the store started getting really busy.
We ordered 2 coffees, one was a pandan latte which was very good! I wish it had a stronger pandan flavor, but it's one of the only shops I've found so far to have it on theur menu.
This isn't really related to the review, but as a heads up, there is a largely known homeless and drug population right down the block and some of them were on the corner streets of the shop walking up and down the strip. There were also a few pieces (idk what you'd quantify them as sorry;;) of human stool on the sidewalk near the front of the store.

Got the Pandan Latte, without having any idea what pandan is. (Still not clear what it is.) I asked the guy what was in the latte, but I think he misunderstood and thought I was asking what the latte ingredients were, not what pandan is. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I just ordered it, but glad I did.
I obviously got it to go, but the place seemed nice enough if you want to sit and drink there. It's off the main road, so don't expect to see it actually on S Jackson.

Stick to the OG viet coffees.. matcha ones were a bit bitter, maybe not my style. The waffle was not bad - not as sweet so it’s like the perfect Asian compliment 😂

The food here is amazing!
Pandan waffle 5/5:
- chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside
- very LIGHT texture
- good flavor
- not too sweet
Viet Ice Coffee 5/5:
- Strong, good flavor, not too sweet
- They offer an oat milk version too for no additional cost!
The only drawback of this place is the location. The immediate surroundings of the storefront is fine, but 2 blocks away is a sketchy/dangerous druggie encampment. I’d probably visit Phin each week if the route there didn’t pass the encampment

Love this place! The owner is so sweet and it’s cozy and cute while not being pretentious. Sesame matcha latte 11/10 iced or hot. Their matcha is the real deal. 🍵💖✨🙏

Phenomenal, high-quality, artisanal Vietnamese coffee + matcha (and vegan too!!). Bao was so fun to chat with and hear about his experience creating this space and his unique coffee creations. Will definitely be back again and will recommend to anyone visiting Seattle! 🥰☕

Black sesame coffee was great. I love sweet and the flavors with the coffee was really decadent. I love sweet but I wouldn’t have minded if I could have it less sweet. Appreciated the owner for open recommendation on a “close to black coffee” option for my friend who enjoyed what was chosen for him. Cute shop and would come back.

i love pandan and vietnamese coffee, was THRILLED to find this shop when i moved to seattle. the latte is so good, but the pandan waffle is even better! get it with peanut butter chips! the owner makes his own nondairy sweetened condensed milk, and you can even buy a jar of it for yourself. this is without a doubt my favorite coffee shop
