Someone at our table was asked by the bartender to take a phone call from the owner, who had apparently been watching customers on the camera system and wanted to address them over a door issue. The bartender struggled closing the door, and because one person had opened it he needed to get them on a call and get their contact information?
We watched kids yanking on that door, and an old man struggle with it, the bartender mess up pulling it close, and yeah on person at my table opened door one time.
So don’t come here if you don’t want to be live monitored by ownership and have them look for opportunities to pin blame on customers that… exist in the building?

Drinks are a little pricey and small but good. The issue to me is the number of kids. This is really the place to go if you’re a parent and want to drink but don’t want to hire a bat sitter. It’s LOUD. expect yelling and running. Expect chaos. I really really wish they had the top outdoor patio for adults only. I almost fell down the stairs on matchbox cars. We won’t come back till this is safer for adults.
I know it’s a hot take but I still think bars should be 21+. If you have a giant neon sign saying “bar” and you don’t serve your own food, then don’t allow anyone, anyone, under 21.

Being of a certain age and stage of life, we appreciate going out in the day for an enjoyable local pint or two. We've gone to Phinney Station several times and overall have liked the place BUT we've come to the conclusion that we do not want to spend our valuable leisure time and money at beer establishments that allow children to run amok. While you're enjoying a nice pint and quiet conversation in good company, to be jarred by babies screaming, kids running around outside, climbing on top of the fireplace bar unsupervised, is not what we personally go to taprooms for. This place is more for those who want to imbibe with their small children in tow then adults seeking adult time with their adult beverages. We will no longer be coming here for the atmosphere, which is too bad, because the drinks, the location and service are all great otherwise. Cheers 🍻

I almost feel personally offended that this place doesn’t have a 6/5 star rating. Even though a) that’s not possible and b) I have literally no stake in this company. But wow do we love this place so much. It’s our go to for meeting up with friends — with or without our annoying small kiddos in tow. The drinks are superb, the perma food “trucks” are stellar (bulgogi taco… you’re welcome) and the service is unparalleled. We owe this place for our sanity.

Awesome local spot for a drink - with a small but great cocktail selection. Very friendly service, great atmosphere, kid friendly especially on the 1st floor but then the upstairs is more of an adult space. Lots of covered heated outdoor seating as well. And the two food trucks are great!
