Honestly best place I’ve ever experienced the overwhelming feeling of family with the owners coming over to check in and make sure our experience was up to standards and the banter was so warming!
You can tell they love this place and their patrons! I can’t wait to be back for their 50th anniversary!
And the bartender “chef kiss” Jesus was phenomenal his recommendation on drinks are perfection and he’s definitely easy on the eyes.

I love this restaurant. Their food and cocktails are divine, but what's more are the owners and staff. They love their customers. They care about their food. It's more than just dining out. It's an experience.

Outstanding service. Sonja could not have been more welcoming. Joe was one of best waiters we've had in years. Discovered this awesome restaurant last night and could not believe our luck. Food was delicious!

What a delight! A neighborhood gem. Family owned and operated, warm staff and owner on site and fantastic Mediterranean dishes. High quality ingredients and craft cocktails. Shout out to Joe, for the outstanding service. We will be back.

If you are ever in West Seattle and want an excellent meal with amazing owners and staff, you HAVE to visit Phoenicia! Sonya and Nadia are the friendliest people around and the menu is out of sight good! I’ll be counting the days until we travel to Seattle again so we can get some yummy lamb lollipops and spicy beef. Oh, and saffron chicken. Check them out!

5 stars for the atmosphere while you wait
3 star for the service cause they offer yiu a seat and nothing else and 1 star for the food because the quality of the food is horrible. This might be one of my worst dining experiences in seattle. The gnocchi is basically store bought and the same stuff you get off the shelf at the grocery store. Instead of being light and pillowy, it's dense slightly hard, chewy and a bit rubbery. Mine was also missing herbs and truffle oil and instead had arugula salad on top with a garlic oil. The squash pizza was doughy inside the crust, but burnt on the bottom, very very greasy and squash pieces were tiny. Nutella cheesecake is a reboxed commercial product that was very warm. We could only eat a couple bites of the food before giving up. It was really that unappealing.
All if this was for $68. Absolutely insane to charge prices that high for food with that poor of quality. You could literally go down to trader joes and spend $20 for similar items and it woukd taste much better.

We had a wonderful first experience at Phoenicia, and I can’t wait to go back. We were treated like friends with the thoughtful and attentive service, and loved the beautiful, refined and open interior. We had some delicious Lebanese wine to accompany the lamb shank and various small plates. We were very helpfully advised to go family style, sharing several small plates, a salad and the lamb shank, and this was a great plan. Love this place!

Hate to say this because I love this place. This places has great service. The owners are great people. I mean the food is actually really good. However you can’t charge people $40. Let me get that right 34.00 five dollars tip for this quality. Also, I understand that people have allergies by peanut allergies or milk, allergies and so if you have a gluten allergy you should not be charged six dollars for gluten-free crust if it’s that expensive to make a gluten-free pizza so let’s just say we don’t do it because six dollars to the customer when that’s a the size of pizza you’re gonna get on top of that it’s burnt I mean come on they can do better being better. I’ve received better but this is not on the Level Very disappointed in what I just paid for but like I said I love this place is the great but they just dropped the ball on this one and I had to say something you can’t and shouldn’t be charging people nearly $40 for a miniature size pizza. Especially the charge on the pizza that’s 1/4 of the price just for the Chris because I have an allergy man.

this was such a weird experience. my partner and i went here for a special occasion and made reservations. the ambiance of this place is very nice-but, that’s if you can block out the bartender and staff legitimately yelling at each other and fighting from across the restaurant ? i felt like i was in an episode of kitchen nightmares. we really hoped the food would be good too, it sincerely was so. bad. my pizza was so slimy with oil it made me have “bad mouth feel” as do me would say, though the sauce of the pizza was pretty okay. there was also a lot of raw flour still on the bottom of my pizza. my partners food was shockingly mediocre- the rice he had tasted like it had actually been contaminated with chemicals. chicken was so dry. it was also such a bland dish.

again, we were both dumbfounded, because we’ve walked past this restaurant so many times and said “man it looks fun to eat there!”. holy crud it was not! from the drama occurring so openly in the dining room, to the sub-par quality of the food, i think the only thing that we did like was the lemonade by the bartender that was yelling quite a bit. he makes a good lemonade.

also, every step of the process was a different server. one of the people who tried to talk to us and tell us that they appreciated us coming (i think they could tell we were quite unhappy with the circumstances), seemed genuinely inebriated while working. we were so uncomfortable especially feeling somewhat cornered at the end of our meal by a semi drunk looking server when it was so clear we wanted to leave!!

all and all thanks for the kitchen nightmare lol we wont be back!
